I've seen this on rare occasions. I think it may be an issue with slippage, not a CAT problem. Honestly i'm surprised it doesn't happen more often given my non-stellar latency and Crypty's delay issues.

Ok i will check for this. This could be an error.
What was your % Gain?

Hum well, CAT works like this, sometimes it happens some round for the min order quantity, maybe is your case.

I'll do some testing and check the log for details

FInally found the problem.
It is not an error, but the result of "Always Create Pong Orders" checked (is checked by default), and having CAT Running on markets with small difference (like 1-2 satoshi) from best sell price/best buy price.
I Will write something about in the code.
To avoid this problems, De-Check "Always Create Pong" when you work on this kind of markets.

Just to say Sampey, that I get small negative gains quite a lot. They don't bother me too much as always very small amounts.

I DON'T have Always Create Pong enabled.

I'm probably wrong, but I was guessing this was to do with Never Buy/Sell Direct being enabled, C.A.T. moving trade to the next price point but not checking whether this would still return a profit or not.

Hey sampey, hope things are well.  its me again with another idea though this one is very far fetched.  what are the chances of getting cat ported to android?  ive got lots of time to trade on my phoneand tablet but not a lot on the computer. 

Any chance we could get cat to automaticly open to certain windows when starting up? example I wanna view my balance right away so start cat and click load balance and bang..  or I just gotta trade maxcoin /btc and qrk/ltc so when I start up those markets are already loading and ready to ping pong when I start.  could u also make cat just look for our api code silently instead of waiting for me to click ok every startup? same with the log screen.. thanks sampey.. appreciate all the hard work.

I have look for this, but sadly i must rewrite ALL the GUI, to make it running on a Android SO, this is a very big works, and i can do only if a LOT of users ask me for that. (It takes me at least 1 month of work).

Actually you can
- Load XML and use from the Toolbar "Check % Diff On Each MArkets" and all your open markets will be read for the first pings orders.
- For the log screen i can do something, but i must add a "User Option" because if you want to change your LOG Directory, you must see the Log Screen

Well...after all todays bullsh*t with Cryptsy down for HOURS, I have to say C.A.T. is flying now its back up and running with very low latency. It really shows how speed access issues at the exchange massively affect the running of the software - as you would expect.

In other news....budding bot programmers might like to check out this Cryptsy API I found ... http://cryptoworks.co/2014/01/10/cryptsy-api-c-net. Works great, I got some simple calls to work from VB.NET.
