@the person above me. Why did you quote the entire post? You didn't had to and it is very annoying.

how does the ping pong algo work? how can it guarantee return? forecasting market or finding arbitrage b/w exchanges?
interested in this, but want to make sure the algo itself and implementation is sound.  thanks

A - Ping (USER INPUT) -> TRADE (Reference Price) -> Pong (At least % GAIN) -> GAIN -> TOTAL IN BUY/SELL POOL

B - BUY/SELL POOL (AUTO) -> Ping At Best Market Condition -> TRADE (Reference Price) -> Pong (At least % GAIN) -> GAIN -> TOTAL IN BUY/SELL POOL

and then loop restart fron B.

Sorry I meant to say it has fluctuated up and down but the average is around where it was when I started the algo yesterday.

Well the problems are 2 :
- Estimated Portfolio values is based on the last trades of a market (wich means that is a completedly false value, and usually can change faster)
- Marketet Devaluation, is a general problem, lot of coins loss in value........

Luca can you add  btc balance at the end of gain after --total cumulative gain--
so we can track whether the gain is meaningful or not

I know there is market devaluation, but still I want to know how much gain do I need to fight it,
because cryptsy is still slow, there's no way to fight market devaluation by depending on transaction frequency

To do this i must execute a full Call and a complete estimated portfolio value. And i must do this for BTC-LCT and XPM.
I will check for this but surely not in next version.
Worst thing is that result will be terrible, because estimated values is a real estimate (too much estimate)

even separately would be nice.
e.g. BTC at start of day is 1 BTC, at the end of the day it's 1.5 BTC so effective profit is 0.5 BTC (0.75 gain minus 0.25 devaluation)
and then separately for LTC and XPM

I don't think this would be difficult - just recording our balance in each of BTC, LTC and XPM at the start and end of each session/day

Hi C.A.T. users.
Actually i'm sending a new version to new customers with these changes :

C.A.T. Beta3V3
Remove Pennies/Cent Dedicate Code
General Stats for LTC/XPM Markets
Java Exception will be printed in the Console Error
Add A Lot of Check And Message in the Error Log (Lot Are False Positive)

I Decide not to send this version to all C.A.T. users because there are few code changes.
You will get Directly Beta3V3 with these Changes :

In The Next Release
Super-Process To Check Frozen Markets
New XML File with minimum Quantity Required For Each Markets
There will be 3 Gain Log (1 for BTC Markets, 1 for LTC, 1 for XPM)
Some Fixes

I'm running tests and everything works fine.  Grin Grin

Only few user (the one who buy a copy during these days) will get C.A.T. Beta3V3, other users will get directly Beta3V4 (the one i'm testing now)

As currently all my BTC hanging elsewhere I've tried to make an alternative solution. It's in early alpha and only
partially successful. CAT installed herself to my machine automatically, also looks interested in the charts,
but no trading activity at all. What could be the problem? Any idea would be appreciated  Cheesy.

I'm in dire need of settings. I started out trading 2.86 and now I'm down to 2.67. I also have very slow gains. (.04 BTC in 3 days). I'm in 10 markets with .6% min Gain. Never sell directly. Sell all if price under -1%

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a button in C.A.T that will sell all altcoins to BTC for current market prices?
Furthermore, when can we expect the next version of C.A.T (with sell all % fix)

Maybe Today.

when can we expect the next version of C.A.T (with fixed false gains)

Written like this sounds very strange.
There was a particular case with the "Sell All If % With Price" option activated with an error calculation.
