The HODL strategy is not actual

This morning I saw an article where a guy made a simple calculation through Google trends about HODL strategy, and it showed that call to HODL used less and less from February of 2018. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down.

Why it is so? Do not people believe in Bitcoin and it's bright future anymore?
No matter on such tend I am going to HODL my founds till bitcoin will not come back to 20k$

The hodl strategy is being used rarely nowadays due to the continuous dump of bitcoin and other coins price. Time will really come where holding is not a thing anymore and that is inevitable so we should be smarter with our investments now. Holding is a way of keeping your money while waiting for the price to rice but that is not necessary anymore.

We cannot expect everyone to keep on holding into something that is not changing or improving. Holding has been a very good time before since bitcoin's value has risen up a lot after being so low. That is not happening anymore that's why those who are holding nowadays are getting fewer and fewer as time passes by with the price going down.

in my opinion is not an actual problem or not, but sell for a loss or sell for profit. or other possibilities you feel disappointed because in a few months bitcoin prices move higher.

It is your understanding that you want to do sell during the dip or want to sell during the high and make money it all depends upon you and your future vision. If you believe it is a bubble you will always end up in a loss as always during dip you will sell and after some days prices shoot up .

HOLD is actually good but you will hold only promising and good coins. If you hold a trashy one with patience, you won't get any benefit from it. First understand and verify yours is good to hold for long run.

Its actually quite normal that the google searched has gone down as because the price of Bitcoin has not been so lucrative during past 5-6 months it has been unstable and going down most of the time so the people who got interested(the noobs/new guys) last year seeing the price hovering above 10k$ and almost increasing every day. That interest is lost at the moment and it is completely normal as those guys have taken a big hit into their pockets.

These trends and searches will also see bullishness once markets go green and bulls comes back.

this strategy is not for new users in this also for those who bring it high in December because of this they really lose the confidence of bitcoin and .. offcourse the old like we will continue because we know the ordinary tendency of bitcoin and i hope the newcomers just follow this ..... this will not last long, will make it very strong and ...... in the future it will reward you.

I believe  many new coin with more advantages compare with btc. That coin interesting many inverstor and people start converting their btc  to that new coin. But I do believe that btc  still leader on cryptomarket because many pairs trade always using btc

Hold is like actual activity once you practice this kind of style it will become your habit. Then you will clearly a strong holder person by dealing business in crypto. It is one of the strategy that use by majority here. Hold until you can, then sell when you see the market that rising above your limit price. I never hold everything entirely on my wallets and expect a green market. Sometimes when the dips are about to begin I sell some of my coins and hodl the rest. When the dips set in, I buy more of the previously sold coins; that's some big profit!

Today's hold strategy can not create as high a profit as it did in the past. The current Crypto market is volatile as no one can predict their price. So rely on the experience you have to invest in Crypto, so you will succeed.

Bitcoin have got many positive prognosis for the price this year, many people, experts and so on, predict 40000$ per coin by the end of the year. What we can call as HODL indeed? Waiting for years to bitcoin reach the moon. This your '20k$` is going to happen again in sooner time, the transaction fee for bitcoin got lower just like it was in 2011 and I'm sure that fact will move bitcoin up, so such short time holder like you are can't be called as serious holder

Dude, the media have always defamed the success of Bitcoin, I believe that BTC still has a long time to be plus strong because it is the pioneer currency, every day, there are more and more people around the world knowing about BTC. The point is that not everyone has $ 8,000 to invest in BTC, luckily there are other ways to get them, bounty campaigns is a way,  sooner or later there will be more BTC in the market and greedy people wanting to get them or dreaming of having. Why do you think so? As for me there are no arguments to think so. I believe in holding and will do this on my own as well as some of my friends. I am sure that the hold strategy is the best now at the market with fluctuations

It is not that the popularity of bitcoin or cryptocurrency is falling down, in fact people are more aware of it and are planning to invest but they are waiting for bitcoin's prices to rise up before pouring some money in it.

Price will go up and down and if you are a real investor which means you invested your own money rather than tokens collected from campaigns, generally people used to hold for a longer period of time rather than having a small profit, mostly as new investor there are a lot of things to learn in order to have a complete idea and also compact. It will help the newly investor to deal crypto business with the learnings from the past.
