Winner of this year, ETH or BTC?

Oh yeah Bitcoin will still keep its leadership. I don't think ETH will be able to surpass the value of BTC. Annyways ETH has done well for integrating the various awesome services on the ETH network.

I don’t make a big difference between Ethereum and Bitcoin. Both cryptocurrencies are very influential and occupy an immense part of the market. So I suppose These coins are not competitors to each other.

It seems to me that the Ethereum is clearly a leader this year and I would not be surprised if next year we see the Ethereum in TOP 1.

ETH or BTC are strong coins. It's difficult to choose between them. With such a statement, I prefer to buy and hold them all ,but i think they are twins in the price ,if btc not stable ,eth also unstable .

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.

On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.

So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

Many people switch to the Ethereum, many cryptocurrencies are created. Therefore, the Ethereum has every chance to get ahead of Bitcoin.

For today, all reviews on others are without serious grounds. Both systems demonstrate relative immaturity and instability. The course of ETH and BTC is influenced by many factors that are difficult to predict.

Why should there be a winner here? Ethereum is not a competitor of Bitcoin. Each of these coins plays a own unique role and there will not be a winner and loser here.

BTC and ETH, I like both. That two coins are the goals people join in crypto. But if you ask me who will be the winner between BTC and ETH  in this year than the answer is definitely Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the best coin ever. I am sure BTC will remain the king of all coins. ETH will not replace BTC.

BTC down = ETH down..for now at least (and I think for the coming years actually), so I am still going to give this year to bitcoin.

BTC is sure to keep its leadership, it can not be replaced by anything, it is like it was, and will remain ahead of everyone, because it was the first, maybe someday this will happen, but it is still very far away.

I believe in ETH, but bitcoin is very far from Ethereum, it is the most popular on the market and its value is unattainable at the moment

Due to the fact that the company zkSNACKs announced a new open source cross-platform lightweight bitcoin wallet called Wasabi Wallet. It seems to me that bitcoin can go up. Alpha is already available on github, Beta 1 August, release on 31 October (on the tenth anniversary of the whitepaper bitcoin). Waiting for October.

It's true that both ethereum and Bitcoin have gained a lot of popularity among the people and both of them are doing really good in the financial markets but I still believe that Bitcoin is way more better than etherium. This is because Bitcoin has be more users than etherium who are willing to invest money in bitcoin. Then Bitcoin is way more accepted than etherium all over the world. because of these reasons I prefer Bitcoin.

ETH network conducts more transactions at a higher speed than bitcoin, 99% of the alternative coins are based on the ETH network, judging by the use of of course the ethereum is much better than bitcoin, but now it is too early to talk about the winners, because the launch of new networks means there will be more opportunities and the situation can change at any moment.

BTC is still up there since I think it is still considered as the "universal" crypto, which by means of exchanging from cryptocurrency to fiat currency. But as the maximum supply is getting closer, the technology behind ethereum is getting its spotlight and the potential of ethereum is getting acknowledged. So many altcoins are based from ethereum and I think the time that ethereum will be the number 1 crypto is near.

At the moment it looks like for me too. Bitcoin will surely be the king for a long time. He is still the leading currency in crypto. Ethereum price rises and falls with the price of bitcoin. Thats why i say bitcoin is the winner.
