I think bitcoin is still king in the crypto market. Although 90% of the tokens are now based on ERC-20 which makes ethereum more valuable. I don't think that ethereum will reach bitcoin price this year but it will be rise surely.

BTC is not really used on a large scale, but BTC cannot be copied in the encrypted world. Just as gold is more collectible in our real world, no one will use gold to go shopping. However, BTC's presence should be close to gold, and its existence value far exceeds its price.

This year I think all altcoins also bitcoin was loser of the year, just Binance coin and Eos was winner of this year, other all coins droped very much and I think recovery cant come for one month maybe it going to take a year.

Due to the fact that the company zkSNACKs announced a new open source cross-platform lightweight bitcoin wallet called Wasabi Wallet. It seems to me that bitcoin can go up. Alpha is already available on github, Beta 1 August, release on 31 October (on the tenth anniversary of the whitepaper bitcoin). Waiting for October.

no one gonna win for this year.2018 is a bad year for crypto world.all crypto keep decrease month by month and no one know when it will be recover.since ETH price so far still depend on btc price so eth will not pass btc for yearly gain.

Hello everyone!
Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.
On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.
So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?
From my personal point of view, BTC still plays its role and ETH continues to grow. Although this is a very strong year for ETH, the value of ETH is still not half that of BTC. This shows that BTC has a very high market share in the Crypto market and we should not expect ETH to win the BTC. it's the truth. |

IMHO eth is the real looser btc is the core everybody look forward to solutions in form of lightning network and obfuscated wallets like wasabi where as eth with its smart contracts facilitates ico s and the like unfortunately ico s are failing to deliver … well at the end of the day time will show
