very odd.. I get this
Quote
{"lastBlock":"6350066627939183166","numberOfAliases":0,"numberOfBlocks":21788,"lastBlockchainFeeder":"88.198.134.190","totalMemory":519176192,"freeMemory":456737760,"maxMemory":1037959168,"numberOfTransactions":5993,"numberOfUsers":2,"version":"0.4.1e","numberOfOrders":0,"time":2385366,"availableProcessors":4,"numberOfAssets":0,"numberOfAccounts":2447}
but in my webpage, in the block section, block 6350066627939183166 is 21786.  thats a difference of 2

Come-from-Beyond, are you up?  Can someone comment on the block# disparity?  It appears we cannot submit alias requests until after block 22000 is built, but which 22000 does that apply to:  the result of the getStatus API being 22000 or the 2200 in the client?  Since a particular blockID longnumberID has a different block height depending on where you look it up at?

Now I'm up. NumberOfBlocks includes orphaned blocks. Nodes will start processing aliases only after they see block at height 22000 forged.

Since the popularity of my website has gotten so big, I decided it would be a great idea to make a partnership to bring people from Dogecoin to NXT.

New users will stir up the popularity of NXT.

What do you think?

The site gets good traffic also:

BTW I own the site so it wouldn't be much of a problem.

This is a good opportunity to place ads to earn money that could be spent to buy more servers in future when u get 1+ mllion users a day.

Already did.

Also I posted a link to the NXT forum from doges.org

Should widen NXT's reach.

Let's wait to see how this Doge-ers migration impact Nxt price.

thanks for stating the obvious!!  Roll Eyes  We know its serious...if you don't know...we sarcastically joke around from time to time using "dogecoin" lines here...it also lessens the very thick tension of the bidding war thats about to start that you may not be aware of for your information!!!

IF cfb advises against it then fine...

hypothetical situation regarding a SINGLE account running on 2 different hallmarked nodes, each having different IPs.

First node is hallmarked with a with a date and weight of which I have forgotten both values.
Second node is hallmarked with 2013-12-22 and a weight which I believe is well over the 1st nodes weight.

I started forging on the 1st node, then later started forging on the second node.  Both nodes are allowing TCP7874 inbound from the network to the host.

Question1: Does the entire network just completely ignore the 1st node since it has the older date?

Question2: Is the 2nd node forging with the entire balance of the account's coins?

1. No.
2. Each node will be forging with the entire balance. Hallmark has no connection to Forging.

ah.. that old date just invalidates the hallmark on that node, not the node or the forging account on it... got it.  Also host#2 sees host#1 with a blue cloud, how on earth did that happen?

But your answer to #2.... does the "you can generate the next block in..." message end up having the same exact time on each host?  (I dont have access to 1 of them right now)  or is it possible that by doing this that I double my forging power? cause that would be FREAKING AWESOME

ETA:  im at host#2 right now, and I see host#1's IP in the "active peers" window but its got a red flag on it.  why is that?

I understand your role quite well, but you are somewhat the unofficial moderator of this thread since bcnext went incognito, so you should at least say something if you feel the little  facetious references throws the purpose of the thread off track...no one's indicated this is a problem thus far so I assume its ok from time to time.
