Nodes will accept AS-transactions only if they see block 22000 (waiting for block 22001). Block 22000 can't contain such transactions.

Using alias.html, how do I know whether my request to register an alias was successful?

How do I check whether the alias I paid for was successfully registered?  Is there a way to test it out?

U may leave URI empty.

U should check that URI matches ur URI. If it doesn't then someone else got that alias.

So to forge I need to run server, log in my profile and can close browser tab.
If I restart server, will the time until next block generation increase because of uptime reset? If that is true, then updating server is unprofitable!

Just to be sure, can you answer to this question?

1) How much is the Limit number of aliases for account?
2) Are aliases case-sensitive?
3) When you will own an alias, can you later modify URI?
4) I still haven't understand the utility of the transaction deadline. It will be usefull for the probability of alias assigment?

Come-from Beyond, could you maybe add a simple security measure to the Nxt account "login"?
Would it be possible to add a cool down time, so that when you open a account you have to wait, lets say 5 sec befor you can open the next account?
That would help allot against brute forcing accounts....
I think that is something wary important !

I do see that as a serious security risk to Nxt....for now its fine as is, but once Nxt gets big what will stop huge botnets or computer farms to brute force the accounts?
Maybe its nor a problem with passwords longer then 30 characters, I don't know, I have no Idea how fast those botnets could check accounts. Maybe I am just a paranoid noob

On a second note, do I understand it right I can enquirer my Alias already now, just I would have to set the time to about 700 min so it will get kicked of at block 22k ?

I am surprised CfB maintains so much patience having to answer the same questions again and again.
People, just read the last 20-30 pages on the thread, most of the questions on the Alias system are already replied. CfB needs time to do the coding for all of us, not answer the same questions to everyone who is too lazy to read the thread.

There is no manual yet, because the software is still alpha releases, so we have to gets bits and pieces of info, do a lot of digging, but when there is a manual on how to use everything, price of NXT will likely be much higher.
