Yeah I went back to my old .4.0 folder, works a charm.
Getting LOADS of chances to forge a block too, Only made it once, with 0 payload.

Coin based on Java... I can't believe my eyes, coin developed with most insecure and inefficient bloated language full with frameworks for lazy/incapable devs. This thing does not sound right and will have serious problems.
I used an online bank client which was based on Java. Maybe it's ok if you know how to deal with it?

I used an online bank client which was based on Java. Maybe it's ok if you know how to deal with it? No, it's not. Also, in order to participate in this super secure NXT system, I had to used that some archaic looking website dgex.com, which is about as secure as java, then pray for my NXT to be delivered, and now I'm stuck at block 22441 7678554491804589202 12/22/2013 10:46:06 PM 15 0 + 16 2'234 B 1 5750397643914585440 5792 % without knowing what to do, which gods to pray to now, or whether my coins will arrive at all. Also with all the ddosing and forking mentioned in this thread, WTH is so secure about it? I'm pretty sure I lost my BTC to this ultra-secure system. Good riddance!

It's not really an issue, as there's a native client being written.I guess the authors chose Java for the NRS (Next Reference Source) because they wanted portability, to reach as many users a possible. Will this native client be part of the January release?

Thanks salsacz. Is that 0.4.0? Looks like that did it. I'm now at 22575 9433259657262176905 12/23/2013 3:42:09 AM 0 0 + 0 0 B 1 9205762685532168987 1203 % And I'm sorry, but all this looks barely usable at regular user level, let alone Fort Knox secure.

I have started the Dutch wiki. Translated two pages so far, but it's getting fairly late here so I will probably be doing more tomorrow. In any case, you can check it out here: http://nxt-nl.wikia.com/wiki/Nxt_NL_WikiIf any of the other Dutch translators want admin access in order to help get the Wiki up to speed faster, shoot me a PM here or on Nextcoin.org forum.

i was having all kinds of issues till i hallmarked my node, and just picked a node with a dns name as a single wellknown host. then used a nearly 24hr old blockchainfiles backup, my client then caught up all recent blocks and am on 22588 now. maybe a coincidence though

How to "just picked a node with a dns name as a single wellknown host"?

The problem that I have is that whenever I catch up with the longest chain because it's stuck, by reverting to a previous state and re-downloading the chain), it works only until some next form and I can wash rinse and repeat time and again. It works, but not for long and must be done way too often. Hope the fix will come soon
