If we resend for an Alias that is already assigned to us do we get that message about the alias being used?

No. This is considered as reassignment.

I guess the one thing we hadn't discussed had to happen to me!?!?! I recall reading about setting a short deadline so that we could try again, also reading about being able to change URI with a small fee, but never crossed my mind to ask if reassignments were placed the same way.

Reassignment == change URI. If u change URI to the same value then it's still considered changed. Looks like we all overlooked this nuance.

This transaction id reassigned the alias. Try http://localhost:7874/nxt?requestType=getAliasURI&alias=Google.

well there is money gone from my account, but no single confirmation on a "Alias".

"undefined transaction" and "undefined alias" but NXT is gone.

I made a new account and transfered the max amount of NXT I wanted to spend to stop from overspending.

Don't think I got any aliases though, in the same boat as you pinarello.

I mined a block. But there was only ~100 transactions in it and ~1000 in fee.
But i see a lot of transactions unconfirmed, and some with 10 000 fee.

Why my nxt client didn't confirm those with a highter fee? and why only include ~100 transactions in the block when there is more available? I though 255 was the limit
