People losing coins due to weak pass phrases will continue. I suggest NXT ( or NRS) does something similar to what Electrum does: force on users randomly generated phrase of 12 words or something like this.
What's the brute force speed a hacker can attempt break-in to accounts? Does the speed depend on the p2p network / java client all? And what's a reasonable minimum length for the password? (asking on behalf of newbies  ) |

What is this change? Transactions are checked for double-spending not only when received and confirmed, but when prepared for confirmation as well. |

About donation pool, actually I just gathered that pool to supply the already posted bounties+ the promoting-based giveaway. So you better keep those donations for when there is a particular bounty you would like to supply. When we get a foundation constructed, we can gather all the donations received into one multisig-account. This way I also feel lighter  There is a problem here: I receive a lot of pms with offers for translation, collaboration or direct business suggestions, with 80% of them demanding some Nxt in return for. I guess some people started to think I am a manager or decision maker for Nxt. This is not true and I don't like it.. I AM ONLY A STAKE HOLDER WHO TRIES TO PUSH THE PROJECT FUTHER A BIT, AND I MAY RETIRE DOING IT AT ANY TIME SOON WHEN I GET TOO MUCH BUSY IN MY DAILY LIFE OR WHEN I GET TIRED. So anybody who has a suggestion or offer for Nxt project, please post it here or preferably open a new thread and let people comment, discuss and decide about your idea there. |
