This is bigger than the Dogecoin scam.
I think you misunderstand the difference between a joke that began to lead its own life and a scam... This may cause you all kinds of trouble in later life.

1000+ active peers here! I wonder how many are Raspberry Pi.
There have been 26 downloads of my Pi package yet. I have no idea how many people have set it up themselves earlier. Probably not a whole lot. I've ordered a Pi and will set it up by the end of the year to have it run NXT 24/7. Marcus

I have no idea how to set up a Testnet!
I can give a bounty to whoever implement it - it is of great importance to be ready after 3rd Jan every change to run it first there.
Even know it would be good.
ah, 3. Jan... sure, I can setup some test-nodes.

I just did a fresh install of my pack, using my instructions, and it worked. The included blockchain is healthy.
So I assume you messed up your chain files somehow. A dirty shutdown of the server can be enough for this to happen. Do it only by SIGINT/Ctrl+C and wait until it is shut down.
As a solution for now, just do "rm blocks* transactions*" and get fresh files.
Thanks, I killed java once, that seems to be the reason. Just did a fresh unpacking etc. and the problem seems to be solved. Hmhm, my raspy nxt client seems to be stuck already. My desktop node is running fine, but on the raspy im stuck at 25169.

So, after 25000 block transparent mining was postponed, do we have to expect that the 3rd January also will be postponed?

on my private server, NxT-Node has more than 450 active peers now and rock-stable;-) ( maxNumberOfConnectedPublicPeers = 50 ) nice to see this growing more and more!!! 1000+ active peers here! I wonder how many are Raspberry Pi. At least one. Here's a post from their website: by JF002 » 26 Dec 2013 09:50 I'm curious about these crypto currencies, and I decided to install NXT on a fresh installed raspberryPi. I can leave it running as long as it does not create any problem on my network and internet connection. I followed your simplified installation guide, browsed to http://192.168.0.x:7874, unlock the account with a big passphrase. I see blocks, peers, transactions,... Now, how can I check it is actually working correctly? Should I give your my nxt key? My blog [FR] : http://blog.slashome.fr.crPosts: 71Joined: 04 Feb 2012 08:49 My response: by rickyjames » 26 Dec 2013 18:11 Once you get an installation of NXT running on a raspberry pi and have it running quietly in the background on your corner of the internet, post your numeric only account number here on this forum and somebody will send you 10 NXT coins. This account number is in the upper left of your browser window, beside the unlocked padlock icon. Once your coins are processed by the network you have joined, you will see them in the upper right corner of the browser window. Happy NXTing!

Somebody is really pissed off by NXT now - both my sites bombarded constantly and admin email receiving hundreds of registration confirmations from various forums mostly in Russia.
They are attempting to deny the service from you - their success will be temporary.
Quark, I'm willing to bet. I came to NXT after achieving disillusionment at QRK. It is a Russian cryptocoin, tho they have many layers hiding that fact from the general public.

Why do you always have to be so skeptical?

Node deployment update!Despite being in a general state of overstuffedness, I managed to deploy 20 more nodes this morning! node41-node50 in Hong Kong node51-node60 in Sydney That's 60 nodes in 6 different geographic locations! StatusNodes deployed: 61Nodes queued: 22Data centers: Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Northern VA, Hong Kong, Sydney SponsorshipToday I received another 12000 nxt that will cover 4 more nodes until the end of March! Thank you! To reach the goal of 100 public nodes by Jan 3, we need only 51K nxt! So close! To support increased network robustness, please send 3000 nxt to 11243542237777034551 to sponsor a node until the end of March. Vanity nodes are available for 4500 nxt with your own hallmark and name. Thank you to everyone working so hard to help NXT be a success. Time to make the nodes.

I advised a guy to code a series of gambling sites accepted Nxt, then bundle them together, make a company and list in Nxt asset exchange. He seems not understand what I am saying. Guys being the first IPO in Nxt network and the first company listed in Nxt asset exchange would be a huge publicity.
He doesn't need sites. Everything can be hosted on the blockchain. (This is not implemented yet though) So, well, he need sites

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community. This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.
