http://www.nxtcrypto.org? I haven't seen that site until now

A few folks and I are collaborating together on it.  So far theres www and info, and soon wiki.  Then there are my public nodes funded by neer.g and Pouncer.  Ive offered to give free DNS A record to anyone who wants to run their node on a name.  I will give a free vanity named node of their screenname if its someone who can give me a heavy hallkark to run the VPS on.  SCREENNAME.vps.nxtcrypto.org

I think its time or a little fun.  POST YOUR PUBLIC NODES AND SEE WHO HAS TE HIGHEST ACTIVE PEER COUNT.  iM AT 781

How long have you been running to get that many?

Not sure, they require frequent upkeep.  vps02 has 17 hr uptime, but its possible the process has been restarted during that period

I have a weird bug.
I am trying to send a few nxts from account to another. I tells me that the transaction was sent, but the amount is not deducted from the senders balance, and the transaction is not showing in the unconfirmed transactions block... any idea?

EDIT: ok it went through with the next block

that could be a good idea to prevent people losing nxt.
like the sender can put in a timelimit for the buyer to accept and if he doens't the transaction is not executed.

Kinda like in any online game that requires a group. You have to get verification for groups and such, Someone sends an invite -> other person accepts the invite. If the other person doesn't accept then the invite is cancelled.

Would definitely help with accounts of no owners. Add that to the two step verification. Click to "Send" -> (Gives you a review your order page) Click "Confirm to Send". So at least they can get verification of who/how much being sent to whom.

This can all be client based. Anyone could set this up once the source is released

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550
At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community.
This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

100 NODES Deployed!!!

Just deployed 8 last nodes to Brazil! That's node93-node100.

100 nodes in 10 different geographic locations!

Status

Nodes deployed: 100
Vanity nodes deployed: 1

10 data centers: Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Northern VA, Hong Kong, Sydney, London, Toyko, Oregon, Sao Paolo

Sponsorship

I went ahead and payed for the last 8 without receiving the sponsorship for them so I can switch my focus to tuning, monitoring, and automation. However, the account is still 22500 short to cover all 100 nodes for 3 months. If you haven't contributed a little yet please send some nxt and support increased network robustness with global distribution. Please send 3000 nxt to 11243542237777034551 to sponsor a node until the end of March.

These nodes aren't being run on "low end hosts". I'm using quality providers that aren't the cheapest. I'm also starting to see that bandwidth costs could be a real issue. 50 nodes at one provider have already used 1TB of outbound bandwidth in 3 days.

Thank you to everyone working so hard to help NXT be a success.

Thanks,
Ferment

PS - Some folks have been asking for my personal donation account. Bounties/tips accepted: 8356368410165964855 - thanks!

Dude, my client on my desktop runs for a day or even two nonstop but doesn't get a tenth of those numbers of active peers.  I currently have only 70.  What's with that?
