Can you please add mynxt.info to those lists as well?
Can add it to my site. Should I add your Blockchain explorer as well? Btw. I will just add them to NXTarea.com. I will forwarding CoinArea.net to NXTarea.com soon. Cool site, but change "everything is built from scratch", not build.

Hey guys,
I'm currently generating me a 777****777 address. Is my calculation correct that it takes about 900,000 generated addresses to obtain one in my wanted format with 6 wanted digits characters (the 1st digit can't be a zero).
The script is running on my PC and on my university cluster which isn't much faster. It's unfortunately running with the NXT API and in python. So it's not the fastest. I would like to make a native C version.
For this I would have to work me into the algorithms. Is this something the community wants?
I'd like that form of address! Be my guest nxtvanitygen p777 s777 [INFO] Starting search with 8 threads [INFO] Searching for account with prefix "777" [INFO] Searching for account with suffix "777" [19] 7778470348187064777 : WuH7rVTGWIhBSre6fGa8ewZbU6fWHECH1Eja The tool itself is here: https://mega.co.nz/#!xZdhRAwJ!a6e7ORQYVdEapDXwiVr5ZVxzrkxki5RWMC3kdY6dfts

Okay...what about: Creators register alias with name of the project for their address?
I thought about that. It looks not natural. I think the main use case of this tables is to see what good is going on. With respect to authors, people are interested in projects. I don't expect that visitor will copy all addresses at the spreadsheet and donate to everybody. So we need only |project category|project name|short project description|project link|. All author-related information should be in the project and organized like author wants. And I think that table is bad idea and we need to create a wiki page for each category and then create a table with |project name|short project description|project link| P.S. I'm talking about information organizing, not about your *starter idea. It is cool but my approach is not related to it P.S.S. nice scratch

Ah, well, adding one more Jira issue to my list...
Can't we have some kind of public schedule for the others? This would be very helpful for client developers and traders... Up

Sure, I can coordinate and write some of the easy stuff. I think we will need some paragraphs from ricot who seems to understand the NXT logic enough to have come up with several successful potential attacks. Do you have a set of URLs for all the docs that have been written. I can make a first pass at making a white paper with a bunch of fill in the blanks. James P.S. I saw a post that said cunicula actually posted a draft of white paper? [/quote] I think the article from Anon is a good basis to start: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E_ToOMG2l1XThx6YnyXEajXaf6H1k2yjq8XkAF0ScB4/mobilebasic?pli=1We should bring round the table: Anon, Rico, Alias, Utopianfuture and ofcourse if you find him cunicula. If someone knows about the draft that would be great also. Pin

NXT VPS Server Donations can be sent here: 6044921191674841550At the end of each month I will donate some of them back to the community. This is separate from my main wallet so you can keep track of them. I will keep them in there and only use them for hosting.

What is the preferred local password generator for Linux? 'openssl rand -base64 50' works well.

Is this ongoing?
I suggest to put a document onlin for all to work on.
Who will take action here please? (utopian, Anon, Alias?)
Pin
This is trivial to do on the wiki. I can set up a Whitepaper namespace and create Whitepaper:Nxt. Then anyone who wants to contribute can pitch in, and the wiki will track everyone's contribution down to the last byte. The bounty can then be divided fairly among the contributors.
