a thorough security audit
i lol'ed Actually, it was a bot, but some more advanced one. It did 750 requests in 20 seconds to different URLs. As far as I can tell, it didn't break anything, so thank you to whoever did it anyway, more tests is good.

It looks like coinmarketcap.com still only pulls volume data from DGEX. Do they plan to add nxtchg.com and bter.com?

Has anyone experienced at least one error with 0.5.9? I mean, a real exception stack trace in the log, other than due to corrupted .nxt files on startup? I haven't even seen a single blockchain rescan in the last two days, only the occasional "generated incorrect block" message, so I don't know whether rescans still cause exceptions, or rescans don't happen anymore, or complete without errors?
It is getting boring, no bugs to fix... need to focus on the refactoring. And no, no new feature requests until I am done with it.
Running nodes is also getting boring. MY VPS is still on 5.7 and it's been up and rolling with no problems for the last 110 hours. Known peers total is 1451. Just upgraded my home node to 5.9 and that was very bloody easy, too. Only bug/problem I've seen is that NRS 5.9 still reports that : " NRS 0.5.8 started successfully " All I can say is: good job, J-L, keep it up.

No rescans, no errors. Some "generated incorrect block".

There is also a new conf in: Shanghai (September) well, salsacz , got it,thank you Quick update on the Amsterdam 18-20th March conference: http://www.bitcoinference.com/I've had a chat with the guys at the venue, they have absolutely no confirmed booking for the conference yet. Apparently it was originally scheduled for November 2013, but the booking was cancelled. I sent a couple of mails to the addresses on the Bitcoinference website, but so far there is no reply at all. So I just fired up my Google-fu skills and I think I've found the conference organiser, but he (and his organisation) seem to mostly be available via F*c*book, so I gave up on that approach. I don't think the conference is a scam, but I do think that it is probably not going to happen or not be a very large scale event. If i've heard nothing useful by the end of this week, I'm going to conclude that its not going to happen. But, do not despair, fair Nxt'ers, because there is still a conference in May: https://bitcoinfoundation.org/forum/index.php?/topic/652-bitcoin2014-l-may-15-17-l-amsterdam/Of course, by then we may all be sitting in the Maldives, drinking beer served to us by supermodels.

Well, I faced a moral dilemma and would like to ask for an advice...
FrictionlessCoin created a thread dedicated to NEX (descendant of NXT). I had a lot of fun reading that thread but I suspect some people took NEX seriously. The problem is that if FC waits till April when Nxt source code becomes completely open, he still won't be able to generate a valid genesis block, coz Nxt uses a crypto algo modified by BCNext (this is why we collected 10 BTC for the audit). I support all cryptocurrencies and would like to help him to create a new genesis block, competition is good for the whole crypto-community. But this could look not very good to guys who own NXTs...
What would u do?
Can't you let him make a clone on top of the nxt blockchain ?
