seems like DOGE and NXT both had the exact same "dump" at around the same time lol...at least according to bter's charts of both... Tongue

Wonder if they are being coordinated?

why do you want to keep the price low? I'm not saying you are wrong or anything to want that. Just curious.

Lower price makes big stakeholders to sell more.

sorry to be a pain but could you elaborate on your thought process here.

@CFB:

Maybe should set up a fund, contact the original stakeholders, buy part of NXT back from the original stakeholders at price 0.0001 BTC, and then use the fund defines each person can only buy 10000 NXT @0.00012 BTC. (No matter market prices change)

And The sold part of NXT not to intervene in the market, the market should be allowed to return to freedom.

E.g:
Creat a Funds (buy part of NXT back from the original stakeholders)

Nxt market prices :0.0002 BTC

New Nxt user (e.g: Each bitcointalk user) can only buy 10000 NXT @0.00012 BTC from Funds.

If this Nxt user want to buy more, he will join the market exchange price 0.0002 BTC.

So the new user can afford the price. and does not interfere with other early investors.

Now Your team intervention in the market, ineffective and too blind.

Does anyone else love the fact that Doge is trading $14mil a day?  At least it shows the crypto community has a sense of humor.  That is going be one massive crash and burn.

I don't think we can underestimate the permanence of DOGE. It traded over half as much as BTC today, 8 times NXT's healthy volume. This is not a joke anymore. It should get the lions share of the speculative frenzy money and hopefully reduce NXT volatility, but ever heard of the "network effect"? Basically, once something becomes popular, it reinforces itself and becomes more popular because it is popular.

It has already surpassed LTC and since it is technically essentially LTC, it could just take its place. Since it costs so little, people spend it a lot more freely and the Jamaican bobsled team is going to the olympics due to DOGE. Pure marketing with essentially no tech can be quite successful. The fact that DOGE traded 30%+ of its entire marketcap in one day means something, I'm just not sure what it means...

Clearly there is a lot of new money flowing into NXT and DOGE and it is coming from the other coins. Now we just need to followthrough with all the tech NXT promises and as DOGE goes toward LTC marketcap, NXT will go toward BTC marketcap.

James

+100

JAMES IS SPOT ON....its a good thing in a way DOGE will kill many other Altcoins...NXT is something different so we will continue to grow....SOMEONE SHOULD SETUP NXT/DOGE GATEWAY inside NXT ASSET EXCHANGE

Nah, this is what always happens when the price shoots up too quickly.

Anyways, we still have a good chance of going up because we broke the previous ATH, so I'd hold on for a bit to see which way the tide is going.

The high transaction fees is a bit silly.  It seems to me meant as a equity grab from the guys who already hold huge shares of NXT.  It just looks bad.

More importantly it kills the micro-payments market.  If NXT could handle that and keep fees small, then BTC would have very little over it except maturity and what that entails.

Is it fixed that there will be 2 places behind the comma or will you directly introduce 4 places?

I'm thinking of placing "number of decimal places" parameter into web.xml.
