Cautionary Tale: I messed up. Big time. Please don’t pile on harder as I’m already sick to my stomach.

NEVER EXPOSE YOUR BTC KEYS/Seed to an forked wallet.

Two days ago, I attempted to split my BTC Diamond and BTC Private. I could not get it.

At some point, I exposed my Ledger Nano with my BTC on it, to each of their Electrum Wallets.

Last night, my wallet was emptied of ALL my BTC, 13+ coins.

Here is the transaction.

Transaction Identifier: d96a7dcd9775456e36938ed2cb84e9d0cac46fad14b8c95008ed77d08f9f8de6

Went to: 3LsvHPBGuEVLZZDUiUuNdNi33T7zmTBC7o

Here’s a signed message so you know I HAD controller of the wallet.
I’m not scamming, just utterly sick to my stomach for losing 13+ BTC.

I've lost all my coins. Please help ANYONE. If you stole them
Please return them! Please Please Please!  RT to help...

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

It appears that I have now lost my entire life savings. I’m not begging for a handout but rather attempting to warn anyone new to the space. I’m sick to my stomach with the loss and my only hope is to gain the attention of the culprit.

If you have any space in your heart, please return the BTC. I’d accept a fraction of what was stolen. Please don’t completely bankrupt me.

That is what is not your care in maintaining the bitcoin you hold. It's okay to invest as long as you do not everything you bet. As a result you have no savings for your future. Like rice has become chicken porridge, so can not be restored again as before. Cool

This is probably the most unfortunate thing I've seen today. Since those hackers have the stomach to steal your BTC, I'm sorry to say this but they give them back to you, not even a fraction of Bitcoin. That 13 Bitcoin is not a joke because that is really a huge investment. I hope you recover from that mate. We know that you will because its the crypto world, there's a lot of opportunities for you here but you just have to work twice for now I think. I know you can do it and you will be able to be successful in doing that. Good luck mate.

Yes dont expose your private key to anyone in your family because that's the most important thing to do when you transac in your bitcoin it's better to keep it good and keep your duplicate on your private key to avoid losing your btc that's good to do.

It is very sad to lose so much btc, but do not be discouraged and break up my brother's hope because maybe it is a life study and test. My suggestion to keep the spirit and self-interopection may be negligence or carelessness that you do so you can lose btc, and for the future to be more thorough and careful in doing btc transactions and make sure that you are on the right page and not spam and keep it well the confidentiality of your btc password to avoid theft.

13 bitcoin? That's really a huge amount of money. Previously I also had to lose my privatekey, but the amount of that was also not much. This is really a lesson.you should how to keep money before learning how to make money. Good luck man

Thanks for your time of sharing your experience which is a helping caution for us. You should never expose the credentials like seed and now it is still nothing tough to gain 13 BTC, never give up and start again your job, when we get shaped with all the experiences we can only reach to the next level to understand every situation.

It's very sad for me to be aware of what happened to you. If it was all your money, then I'm sorry for you. Be courageous and try to find something to do that will not make you sad.

So you were trying to get altcoins by importing your private keys into Electrum? I'm not sure how that would result in you getting your money stolen. You even said you had a hardware wallet...

Or did you import your private keys into an altcoin wallet without first sending the money to another wallet? I guess that could easily lead you to lose money, and maybe the altcoin even has a function like that where your private keys are then uploaded to the wallet creator so they can potentially steal your money in the other coin.
