Yes one sec guys. I honestly have looked low and high to find a root cause but can't find one. I may however found a workaround.
Sent you a PM

Important Announcement The Issue and solutionFreicoin has this weird two tier block reward system. A thing known as "Initial Subsidy" and "Perpetual Subsidy". They designed it in a way that after a certain point in time (when EQ_HEIGHT was reached) people would stop generating the initial subsidy and just get a perpetual one. I of-course removed all this. One thing I did not realize was that the tax was sent to multiple addresses in an interesting way. To put simply the network sent X amount of tax to one address then every so often changed the address to the next one in the list. But when EQ_HEIGHT was reached the network did not know where to send it, their was no loop. So Mike270 told me to add two characters and basically now the tax rotates between the four addresses and loops without stopping and causing this issue. Now I just need to check the tax gets sent using a block explorer. Updated Source-codehttps://github.com/Sphere2013/GlobeCryptoHas it been fixedSo we think it has solved the problem. Blocks are getting generated again but we just need to make sure that the tax is getting sent to the correct address. To do this we need the block explorer to be updated (PM sent to the block explorer OP) but the signs do look promising . Thank youI just want to really thank Mike270 who instantly found the problem and created the current solution and Ocminer who very quickly updated the pool to test out the new version of Globe. Where now ?
Assuming everything is OK, I will get new compiled versions of Globe out ASAP within 24 hours, I hope. Your Globes that you hold now will not be affected. You just simply need to update your wallet and can resume your lifes as normal . In the meantime if you wish to start using Globe straight away or are responsible for some major Globe infrastructure e.g. Exchange, Pool etc you can compile the new version of Globe straight from the updated source-code linked above. If your a Globe OP of an exchange or pool please PM me when you update to the new version so I know not to contact you again. Again ! I repeat, If you operate an exchange or pool and have updated to the new wallet tell me that you have updated to Globe 0.4 and make sure you have more than 161280 blocks present. This will prevent any confusion ! Thanks for all your support and hopefully this patch will work . Sphere

Hi everyone,
Just checked the block explorer everything seems to be good. New wallets will be compiled and released hopefully within the next 24 hours.
If you're in a rush the source-code has been updated and you can compile yourself.
Talk to all of you soon
Thanks Sphere

New walletsHi everyone just compiled the new Windows and Linux QT wallet. You can download them from the website here : http://globecrypto.com/?page_id=6653I don't own a Mac so I have kindly asked a user to compile it for us. Just sent a PM to him so hopefully a Mac wallet should be out soon. ServicesThe C-CEX exchange now has the latest version of Globe. Here are the links to C-CEX : https://c-cex.com/index.html?p=glb-btc and https://c-cex.com/index.html?p=glb-usdBusoni is having a little trouble compiling so we should get that sorted out soon an Poloniex will hopefully be back in action. Both pools have updated to the new version so you can keep mining if you wish to do so. The block explorer also has the latest version of Globe. I have not had a chance to build the e-mailing system to notify users of the new version. Users who don't know and given their e-mail should know about the update once I get some form of e-mail system up (should be within the next 7 days or so) Thanks Sphere

Can't you broadcast a message through the wallet? I've had messages that there is a newer version multiple times in wallets?

I'm still showing v0.8.3.0-g0673e64-beta after downloading the v0.4 wallet. Should that be happening? Along with that, still not getting synchronisation with the network:

Also with wallet version 0.4 i am still stacked at famous block 161279. And i have an warning line on wallet " Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or other nodes need to upgrade. " Hmm strange, because i made an upgrade from 0.3 to 0.4. I have connectivity, because i get number of total blocks 162228 ( currently ). How to come over this 161279 block ? In the Debug window it is still an little failure at Build date field and it shows " $Format:%cD "

This is very weird I tried on two machines. One downloaded the block-chain from scratch the other continued from where it left. I have not changed the official name of the version within the source code just the name on the file hence you won't see a difference when opening. To those that are having the issue may I recommend you just delete everything in your Globe appdata folder apart from the wallet.dat . Do not delete the wallet.dat ! (It holds all your Globe private keys) but delete everything else and just download the block-chain from scratch. It did not affect me as one of my machines just carried on syncing without a new block-chain but hey maybe your machine is a little different. I'm not getting this "need to upgrade, or other nodes need to upgrade" warning on any of mine. This was one of the reasons I did not change the official name or version so it did not cause this problem or nuisance ,but it seems to have cropped up anyway . Anyway, I recommend you just re-install the block-chain nothing will happen you won't loose your coins. Just keep your wallet.dat file and all will be ok. To others reading this, just download the new QT from the Globe website and run it. It is unlikely you will need to re-install the block-chain your wallet will most likely continue syncing from 161279 onwards. If you do however run in into this issue just re-install the block-chain annoying yes will take aprox 30 mins depending on machine. You can find a conf file here : http://thenodeslist.com/conffiles/globe.confThis should give you guys some nodes . Thanks SPhere

Sphere, are you sure that you did not done some mixing with this wallets. I checked file sizes of 0.3 and 0.4 and they are exactly the same. How can it be if there is something corrected in 0.4 ? 27.03.2014 13:28 9.115.648 Globe-Qt-0.4.exe 22.01.2014 00:16 9.115.648 Globe-Qt-0.3.exe
And in the client there is also the same client version in 0.3 and 0.4 " v0.8.3.0-g0673e64-beta v0.8.3.0-g0673e64-beta "

They are the same size because only two characters where added to fix the issue . I have not changed the client version name. Will look into doing this for future updates to minimize confusion. As you can see Globe 0.4 was compiled today . afterwards I tested it and then put it on drop box. If you do have an more issues please do post and I will do my best to resolve it.

I had the same issue on my windows 0.4 wallet - delete the folders blocks, chainstate and database from the globe data directory and restart the wallet - it will redownload the blockchain just fine. Also, initial syncing may take a while as long as there are still un-updated nodes outside - it first needs to find nodes that have the newer blocks. My theory is this: They already "saw" the first of the new blocks and rejected it before they were updated, and won't request it again after being patched, so you are stuck. Re-downloading the blockchain works around this issue.
Kind regards Mike
