This won't be forever this way. DOGE/FIAT exchanges are coming.
Other altcoins will also get more direct exchanges soon.
Trust in Bitcoin dev team is declining more and more.

So this can change in the future or it stays this way, who knows.

I figure that whenever is buy price much lower than lowest sell price, someone is manipulating the price to go down. Just like yesterday and this morning:
http://doge.yottabyte.nu/

On a positive note, a little price fluctuation, trading doge is always a good thing. It makes this currency that much  more alive and used.

To the moon!

Could I ask the owner of http://doge.yottabyte.nu/
to change the lower graph coin value from Doge to BTC, because we could track buy/sell walls more easily. It's kinda too big and strange to count millions of Doges on the bottom graph if you know what I mean Cheesy

Everything else is excellent !!

I didn't pay attention and opened the old wallet (1.0) - then transferred some doges (the wallet looked synced)
Now it looks like this since 5 days:

Status: 0/unconfirmed
Date: 1/21/2014 07:46
To: DL6AqRrMu2DX2Cz8JHTDZXhjFQaVA6RsuU
Debit: -98555.00 DOGE
Net amount: -98555.00 DOGE
Transaction ID: 61e6e75ac5955598643cb6d05a779e88bec8bebb4f48aaafb592e4d157b15a55

I cannot find it in the blockchain based on TxId. Also deleted everything (except for wallet.dat), re synchronized with no results.

Any idea on what could be done ? Isn't the transaction supposed to be rejected by the network and the doges returned ? 10x in advance.

I guess you need to update your wallet and then reload the blockchain.

Can DogeCoin be mined with CPU ?

Yes, but it's not worthwhile. It will cost more in energy use than you will get out of it. GPU or nothing.

Can DogeCoin be mined with CPU ?
Yes but it's not even worth it with such difficulty, youll have more power costs than profit

edit: seems someone was before me Smiley lolled

So this is it, huh. Everyone is cashing out from alts into btc. That would explain the sudden downturn with mostly all alts.

Can DogeCoin be mined with CPU ?

Yes, but you'll get 750 doges/day (best case, with an i7).

Only worthwhile if you have cheap or free electricity (< 0.05 USD/kWh)

20% less than which pool?Huh
20% less than estimated coins based on his hashrate and difficulty. He trying some suchcoins pool and he think it is better. But it is only one day..hard to say if it is true or not. Maybe there is some algorithm problem.. I do not know. I like dogehouse, but they can close their gates at about 15Ghs, because it is overloaded many times. maybe we are mining into the air..

Dogecoin doesnt have fixed amount of coins per block but random. Now it is between 0 an 1 000 000. So sometimes you dont get average 500 000 per block. In those days Dogehouse has unlucky days because its average amount is under 500 000. But it is not fault with pool.

Yea we know that. But 20% under? For a large pool like that, there should not be a suck big variance as each block only takes doghouse 5mins to find. So based on law of large numbers, 20% is unlikely.

I have also been using dogehouse, for weeks, and I never got anything higher than the estimated payout based on the diff and my kh/s. But something like 10%-20% lower. I have 4350kh/s, so that is not too little to draw a conclusion. Btw, I have taken the 2% rejected share into account.

Had the same problem. I was constantly getting ~25% less than expected. Really high invalid share rate also (3.5%). They pumped the fcking vardiff so high its unreal just to manage with the traffic. I left that place for suchcoins and I have noticed many others leaving also lately. It's not like dogehouse has any problem with securing traffic though Cheesy

BitCoin is the "Reserve Currency" that all other alts are tied to. As the price of BitCoin rises, the other Alts fall. The inverse is also true. (In most cases)

I sold all my 480,000 some odd Doge's this morn at 201. As BitCoin finds a price to stabilize at (whatever that may be) I will buy back ALL my 480,000 Doge's for that much cheaper. OR I will buy MORE Doge's for the same price.
