hmm.. mrlotto, selling the premine?

isnt that 60million ? there could be a big miner out there with that many no problem

I've been on all the major pools, there have been no miners that big until the last few hours.

I could see someone having 20 - 30 million.  Unlikely anyone else has mined 60 million though.

what about solo miners? remember the pools only started to get going the last week or so, before it was all soloing that was yielding great results, i know because I solo mined since the 12th, up until a week ago when i changed to pool, I accumulated a significant amount by soleing with 5000 hash

Apparently I'm the only one that looks at hash rates while they are mining.  Up until 3 days ago, the hash rate never got over 400 - 500 Mh/s.  For the first 10 days, it was around 120 Mh/s.  I know, because I was 4% of the entire pool at that time and I was hitting blocks solo mining all the time.  The pools kept going up and down and only nut's pool stayed stable.  There were no guys with 60 Mh/s mining at that time, I would have seen all the blocks going to them.  The big guns didn't sign up until today - about 5 hours ago to be exact.

You're missing two points : This coin is not some week old coin its been on since 12 Dec and since that 60m could be easily mined with one person. On the other hand, who says all 60m belongs to one person? When many ppl list their coins at same price, trade list will show total amount for sale.

this is the last comment I'm going to make on this as its just bogging down the thread.  As someone said above, it would have been easy to buy 10 - 20 million of them and mine the rest.  I've already pointed out there were no big miners initially.  You can either believe me or not, it doesn't matter.  I suppose someone could have 60m, if they started on the first minute with 5+ Mh/s and never stopped or sold a dime.  I'm not sure even then it was possible though as nuts pool started taking 65% of the blocks and was causing hell on solo miners accept rates - that or there was a problem with the daemon, but that's another story.

Honestly, I don't care either way.  It was just speculation and the sell order is set extremely high so it doesn't matter in the least for days.  I was just commenting on the speculation of who did it.   As far as it belonging to one person, it is highly unlikely 2+ whales decided to pick the same random number and put down a ridiculously huge sum of coins that happen to equal exactly 60 million at that valuation.

As said, I'm just not interested enough to carry this on any further.

Lottocoin price was all the way down to 11. Anyobody could have come in over the past few days and bought 60 m coins for a mere 7 btc. Don't see what the big deal is.

Well the last week I got 150-200k/day with 1.2Mhps.
12Mhps give 1.5-2million/day.
I got 500k/day the first 3 days with 0.6Mhps, 12Mhps would give them 10million per day.
That's 45million on 10 out of 17 days. That's poolmining with 12Mhps.
Some people were solo mining with 20-30Mhps.
60 million is not that much. I've mined 3.5million without mining 24/7 and missed like 3-4 days with 0.9Mhps mean value.

If by "lots" you mean maybe a small handful (and even that is somewhat doubtful). Regardless, I have no idea why they would even place that order. It's never going to get filled and cryptsy has been so spotty lately that I would be very uncomfortable having that much money on their site for an extended period of time.

Indeed, it's not a dumper tbh. He'll stabilize the price at 200 satoshi for a while, which I think is okay.
I my self have 500k LOT on 100 satoshi, 500 on 200, 500 on 300 and 500 on 400. Saving 2 million until we're at Andromeda Galaxy Wink

Take it easy guys. The quantity is always an addition of multiple people trading at the same price.

So it may be very possible that the 60 Mil account to 6 different people with 10 Mil each.

Great video, just a few typos in some of the text (eg communitiy and lottecoin wording) and the first half of the video is blurry but apart from that 9/10.

you didn't miss anything, bunch of people panicking, dumping like mad ever since it came on Cryptsy - fully expected
and now three 2digit walls standing in front of the 200 satoshi mark
I for one hoped it would settle at around 150 on launch, so it underachieved so far for me. In case you are wondering how I came up with the number - I did a rough estimate on the volume mined so far and compared it to DOGE's launch volume/price - in theory LOT should be valued a lot better than DOGE..

Not much, really. It hit cryptsy, stayed around 60-80 satoshi for a little bit, and got dumped back down to barely above where it was on coinedup within a few hours. The fun hasn't happened yet.

All good!

Yeah, I don't think we'll see 200 satoshis happen too soon, but 100-150 will definitely happen tonight or tomorrow. It's already at 50.

Value will skyrocket once the difficulty does the same, which is already happening
