Lottocoin.org/lottogame/  is now fixed, please try and view your tickets.

I would like to suggest changing the lottogame draw to twice a week. I think it will help keep some of us with A.D.D. from becoming bored and moving on to something else.

RapidBalls go live tonight, they have 5minute draws. So you can look over there soon Smiley.

They are looking to be the official lottery game for LOT and i dont think mrlotto would disagree.

Good grief i've been away for a day and it looked like it exploded in here... i missed a price war..troll war.. flame war.. declaration of independance (forum)... damn its good to see activity on the thread...

I do have a question though... While premine is a problem with devs pumping and dumping... how exactly does one expect a dev to make any money?

In one of the previous posts long ago.. i think total coins mined had already exceeded initial premine value a long time ago.. cant remember the math for it.. but i think premined amount would be about at most 30%-40% of current coins floating around out there though more likely its closer to 20%-30%.

Bounties have been paid and services have been developing slowly.. I imagine a dev has to follow rules like not buying his coins... not mining it.. etc... so what exactly does a dev get out of it? Satisfaction over a job well done doesn't pay the electric bills.. And God, do we miners get electric bills....

Heres my math..lets say whats left of premine is 200M LOT... and we average an expectation of 150 satoshi's (from 100-200) thats something like 300BTC or about usd 222,000 @ $740 which seems like a fair trade to me... Given time.. we could see it in the 1000-1500 satoshi's range and the coin does have that potential but by the time we reach that lvl.. 200M is gonna be the proverbial drop in the bucket.

after all.. Sven (sorry i got to use u here.. but i am not slamming you as i have a great deal of respect for the way you run your system.. Mine and sell with no emotional hangups) got maybe 15M a day.. and has admitted its the most profitable coin for him right now..

yes miners keep a network alive.. but sometimes we forget that its the devs that actually gave us a network to keep alive.. so lets not be petty about them earning something..

And to be clear on the issue.. Dev does need to consider having some sorta PR person hired to do the communication.. i think a lot of the problem has come about from frustration on both sides.. Dev's while they do develop a coin.. have a tendency to only post a few times a day.. and that causes them to miss out on quite a bit...

Hey, you did great work guys. I won't go into every detail of it, but for every part of this plan - kudos!
I just wanted to bark in for a sec and say; while LOT community should appreciate RapidBalls, it should more work 2-way.
Way I see it, Alexa rank of RapidBalls is not that high. It's green, but still - unless it's all TIER 3 traffic, site should have somewhat about 1000-2000 visits per day.
Meaning - as it's still a good site, it's not BIG one, so with all things considered - there should be a positive two-way appreciation of involvement into this project, not just kinda - "let's be happy that RapidBalls has taken the coin (actually a big bounty)".
In that light - a certain effect should be expected from RapidBalls in return, make sure you have that in mind. For sake of effort put in and LOT community.

And for the rest..
Kudos for everybody, that's for sure.

Have a nice one!

p.s. and yeah - for anyone wondering - I am a webmaster, do it for a living with gaming sites (games, not casinos) and can stand behind my observations/calculations about other sites.
I might be wrong, but that would be only due to insufficient data, which on the other hand goes with any site that is not a bit bigger.
Cheers

You are probably right with your estimates nosf009 but Alexa rankings can be wildly inaccurate. Ive seen numbers fluctuate wildly with little difference in traffic. Also Alexa is determined by visitors who have the Alexa addon that visit the site. I'm going to guess that a lot of Rapidball visitors don't use Alexa compared to most regular sites. I think the traffic is probably a little higher than what you would normally correlate with a 500k Alexa score .

I know. TBH; it's the worst shit ever, the Alexa pomp and bunch of far east webmasters (no hard feelings) praising and selling sites for decade now based on that crap.
Highly manipulative and not accurate until the levels of < 20.000. Shame, though, other tools that could give any rough estimate on one site's performance are closed or also not precise.
Still, yeah  - I included the possible miss % and while it may be more than 2000, it can also be less than 500, or even up to 5000.
Though, my point is actually - as it is NOT an extra big site, I'd suggest LOT community also to take note that it's a 2-way street this cooperation.

Kudos, nevertheless for the shot!

Thanks.  It's just one more coin to add to our list of growing pools that offer people a friendly and secure platform in which to do their mining.  It will obviously take a bit to grow, but we're confident that our pool will become a staple in the very new future for miners looking to mine Lottocoin.  I already have all my hashing power there, comon join up and let's create a nice sized pool we can all enjoy.
