if profit from selling is 3% more than EXPENDITURE (hardware + electricity + hosting costs) then mining is a good way to overcome ZERO bank interest rate....
so makes sense that millions of people around the world are doing it to actually make a return on investment...
remember ALT coins and BITCOIN are intrinsically worthless, and the price on the exchanges is meaningless in terms of a coins real value... which is ZERO... so Miners don't give a shit about what the future price is ... they are happy with anything above a 3% profit... they will sell all the way down to the ground if its above 3% profit...
Look at it this way folks.
Big miners need a return on their investment & they need to pay bills. Not next week or next year but NOW. They will sell their coins to the highest bidder regardless of the offer. They dont care about the coin, its potential as an investment, nothing.
Now, for investors, this is a goldmine, because we get to buy coins cheap, courtesy of the big mining companies. And as investors we're in no hurry to sell. Its an investment.
So later on, along come the BIG investors, the noobs, and the high rollers. They just heard about Lottocoin & they want in NOW before the price rises. And we as investors are still holding our cheap coins that we got from our friendly mining magnates when they were dirt cheap. And unfortunately for them, we read the same news, and we're not selling...
And more buyers pour in 'cos LOT has hit 10 other gambling sites, and the wider media, and they bid against the buyers that just arrived and they try to outbid the new buyers, and so the price rises. Now where does this leave you?
It's quite simple really. You just need to follow the plan.
