Mostly coins, little fiat.

Weird, recently I thought about Scrooge McDuck swimming through gold like in this scene...then I realized he was actually swimming through Bitcoin, not gold. Gold is solid, there's no way he can freely swim through a bunch of solid coins.... but you can swim through bitcoin since it doesn't really have a form. He must have been an early adopter

I'll be a bad boy and tell to everyone:

"No everybody is a HODLER. In Bitstamp, MtGox, Vircurex"

Now, I prefer to hold in offline wallets but hey, if some people like their money in other people hands that's cool with me. I won't stop them from achieving happiness.

That's hodling MtGox, Bistamp, Btc-e IOUs and it is an eretic form of HODLing. HODLing your own bits is the only proper way to do it.

RULES OF ENGAGEMTN
NO ALT COINS!
Can you explain this part? I thought trading alt coins would one of the best ways to hodl. Alt coins are much easier to trade than usd and if I'm making massive profits trading doge/btc then I won't even think about using those bitcoins to trade btc/usd.

I think they're all pump and dumps.
I know they're pump and dumps - I still make massive profits. Most of the time I'm in the trade for 10 minutes and then I'm hodling btc again.

Yeah its still gambling and you could lose. Hodling is all about no risk, no worry, no work.

I think they're all pump and dumps.

They're not all pump & dumps, but they have wilder swings, just need to hodl tighter. When BTC/USD goes up ALT/BTC goes up higher & there's less temptation to go back to fiat if you can't trade directly & it means double fees.

99% of alts are pump & dump scams, don't hodl those, but don't write off the good ones.

You even get interest for hodling PPC & other proof of stake coins, paid to hodl.
