Am I doing something wrong or is it normal due to the high reject rates, I'm getting a hash rate of 60-70Khs while my gpu is hashing at 400kh/s or so

Are you guys facing the same problem?

High rejects here as well, it helps to lower the intensity to like 15.

Temp switchback to poolofpools. Not sure what's going on atm, but cryptovalley went quiet.
I went back a bit ago after my .5 CAT didn't go up anymore. I was on POP in the first place and didn't really have problems.

Well, POP is accepting my shares, and while I'm not confident, it's still better than no shares at all. I'll just have to risk it and leave it run. See if cryptovalley has updated by the morning.

Something isn't quite right with the pools. Anyone hitting anything?

I've found quite a few blocks. A few thousand catcoins.
WTF is up with the extremely fast blocks though?

Fuckin Catcoins.

At this rate I may be better off taking my chances solo mining. Neither pool seems to be updating. Hadn't had a payout since block 7980 on cryptovalley. Back to at least submitting shares again, but not sure whether poolofpools is on the right blockchain.

You have working catcoin-qt?

I haven't bothered to try. It's nearly 4am here. I'll look at it tomorrow.

PoolOfPools network hashrate - 51 Mh/s
Cryptovalley network hashrate - 315 Mh/s
So where is the right blockchain?

I found blocks for both pools, still 0 catcoins in both balances.

I take it this coin is completely broken? We were thinking about setting up a pool.

https://chunkypools.com - POT | WC | DOGE | MUN | RPC | DEF | DGB | KDC | RUBY | POT | STP | SPN | PCN

1% PROP - SSL - custom MPOS - profit-switching port - single-sign on - great IRC community - scalable architecture - no downtime

I think the problem is in genesis block, someone forked catcoin with its own genesis block. So I think one of the pools did that... Cause I have started solomining not pool mining. And now I am on 10441 block.

But I am noob and don't know what I am talking about. Wink

Some donate will be good))))))

So....anyone's balance increasing at cryptovalley?

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

lolwut?? Not possible bro.

Also, I remember poolofpools mined every block in sequence. This makes me think they are on their own fork. Most other pools skip block #'s implying other people are mining on the same chain as them.

A pool on launch was an incredibly stupid idea to begin with. When you have all hashing power coming from 1 centralized place, you undermine the entire concept of cryptocurrencies, and you end up with 5 pools mining their own 5 blockchains.

A cryptocurrency NEEDS the solominers in the beginning, to decentralize the blockchain. The chain needs to be spread by multiple solominers competing for the blocks all around the world. Not one pool writing its own blockchain.

Clearly OP had no idea wtf he was doing.
