Recently some of you were confused between Asian Handicap and European Handicap Soccer bets. We explain the differences in our Rules page and I'd like to take this opportunity and bring it to your attention : Asian Handicap bets are grouped together and listed under the Asian Handicap market and may result in a win, lose, push, half win or half lose. For example, an Asian Handicap bet on Team A + 1 will result in a push if Team A lost by exactly one goal, a win in case of a draw or if Team A won, and a loss if Team A lost by 2 goals or more. An Asian Handicap bet on Team A + 1.25 is equivalent to half a bet on Team A + 1 and half a bet on Team A + 1.5. In this case, if Team A lost by exactly one goal, half of the bet is pushed and the other half wins for a total result of half win. European Handicap bets are different from Asian Handicap bets in that there is no possibility for a push. For example, if you bet on Team A + 1 and Team A lost by exactly 1 goal, you lose the bet. If on the other hand you bet on Draw on the Team A + 1 market then your bet is a winner. Betting on Team A + 1 in European Handicap Team A + 1 is equivalent to an Asian Handicap bet on Team A + 0.5.
