Never mind, I just checked the source--it is now create_send.
Hello, busoni When the volume is 2300BTC,the fee should be enough to fill the blank. And there should be 57.5 BTC and the equivalent value xcp. How to handle them, please give an treatment method.Thank you very much.

is there a new send command - the one in the explanation of 520Bit is not working for me any more
C:\Users\xxx>counterpartyd send --from=xxxx--to= 15buRLRW47AY9Md3mpFj17Yp6w4BtfMRjc --quantity=5 --asset=XCP
C:\Users\xxxx>echo off usage: counterpartyd send [-h] --source SOURCE --destination DESTINATION --quantity QUANTITY --asset ASSET counterpartyd send: error: argument --source is required
This is the old version command. You should always check the latest version. Or use counterpartyd -h to find out all the useful command. counterpartyd send -h could help you find out how to use send.

Jah's GUI worked great last night, but this morning when trying to send XCP I'm getting:
transmit() got an unexpected keyword argument 'ask'
Using latest binaries from firefly.

Sorry for that! i miss one modification in counterpartyd 6.1. I did a push with fix: https://github.com/JahPowerBit/BoottleXCP

I'm glad to see the first DEX in action, but I'm slightly disappointed by how it is done right now. Especially the fee-policy seems strange to me. It can't be that a DEX is much more expensive than a centralized one. I see the need for trolling prevention, but what's the point of having a troll-free DEX that is not used because it's too expensive? There is one fundamental problem if users can set the fee required when placing an offer: The market does not necessarily converge to one price. There might be one price for low fees and another for high fees. this makes the whole thing very complicated to use. And the following DEX features are lacking (or please point me to the docs if I'm not up to date): - minimum match quantity should be selectable when placing an offer. If I want to sell 100x<asset> I might not want to to have 100 trades of 1x<asset>, especially if the process is not automized
- multisig escrow solution. Trading XCP/BTC is ok now because both are built on top of the same blockchain and the protocol can act as the escrow. But If I would like to trade PPC for BTC, how would that work trustlessly?
However: keep going on, the bleeding edge of crypto is exciting.... I so +1 this. Please somebody address all these points. All of these points are concerns of mine as well. These are very important imo.

me too, i want to buy more xcp. For the record I had xcp stuck on poloniex during all this. And I still have it there because busoni has earned my trust. But I believe the fee is too high for buyers. We want new xcp holders in. My opinion is 2% for sellers and .5% for buyers. Until a reasonable amount has been recovered for busoni. I do not think necessarily busoni should get 100% recovered. Perhaps do this for the next month and stop regardless whether you recovered all or less.

What faster we get fees normal that better. Are you Busoni paying some part of this loses also? After all is clear you earn with fees and it was your fault that there no had any cashout protection for big amounts so i think you need to pay some small part also?

I can't understand how so many people are having so much trouble with counterpartyd. I am literally a complete novice, I know nothing and I managed after a few stupid basic mistakes to get it working. Maybe I have just been lucky but it seems like you just need to follow the instructions online really really carefully and not miss out any of the steps.

Although Busoni seems to ignore the question of how much does he feel responsible for I don't think it is because he feels he isn't. Perhaps his frame of mind is lets see how donations and the higher fees go for a while and he will most likely eat the rest when he thinks the community has done enough. That is my guess.

Perhaps his state of mind is let's make sure the exchange is working right and let me sleep through the night and then maybe I will have time to read message boards. For what it's worth, I cannot believe that busoni had the audacity to allow people to withdraw what he believed was their own money. How quick we are to forget that the bug was in the protocol itself, not in the exchange.

I've purchased some XCPs @ poloniex, and want to withdraw it, is there a way to do it without using counterpatyd.exe? For example, for MSC you just need to create new address in your bitcoin wallet, will the same work with XCP?

yes. (keep in mind that you wont be able to send the xcp back to poloniex without counterpartyd)
