so i got bored over the weekend and went on odesk and paid a little change to have someone make a banner for one of the reddit pages

this is not the final since he misunderstood the directions and made the candies way too small and a few other errors...  the role of this imagery is to encourage people who are game designers and not finance oriented people. i'm sure the other reddits will have that all covered for you traders.

http://s28.postimg.org/gfxfnaorh/counter_party_1.png

I like it. Counterparty has many faces.

Looking super gay and being in total copyright infringement being one, in this case... I am surprised we don't have more poneys and pink flowers flying around.

it's called ART... no copyrights protection on artistic expression Tongue

btw great idea about the ponies and flowers

The same type of ART I am doing in the restroom everytime I have mexican food...

Any update with counterwallet?

Looking at Auroracoin's success, it seems for a coin's success more number of people should use it. Counterwallet will attract more people to XCP

Oh, really ? Thanks a lot, we seriously had no clue about this.
Thanks a lot for this very valuable piece of information. If you have any other critical hint like this, please make sure to post this somewhere else and just delete your account right after. Thank you.

I'm sure most think bellebite2014 is an A-hole or whatever. He's a bit rude and doesn't sugar coat. But I hate to admit he cracks me up sometimes.

He is like simon cowell. Although he sounds obnoxious and rude, he's kinda saying things at least I am thinking just in a very unfiltered mean way.

Please try to let up a little bellebite we still have many new potential adopters coming and being too direct or even plain rude will scare some away and

looks bad on XCP.

Watching the gay candy crush ripoff logo and seeing that people are giving BTC away to be on crappy exchanges will sure scare away many people, I agree.
Can't believe people have funds for this, but nothing to support the GUI... Crazy.

The people who invested in the burn during the January AltCoin rage want an early exit and higher returns. Those who invested for the protocol are much quieter and many fewer as you need a real business for the protocol to work and this is very hard.

I think eventually the hands will even out, as it has started to do already, and price will naturally increase (reach its 0.1 and perhaps even higher:) with the arrival of the online wallet. Once the wallet is in place I belive xcp adoption will increase. However I do think we need some more marketing and  to help build and grow the protocol we need donations to the dev team.

Is there a document or guide that explains how to use the distributed exchange?

I quickly poked around the FAQ and Documentation links provided in the OP, but nothing jumped out at me.  Did I just miss the right link, or is the relevant info to be found buried in forum posts?

I read that the hacker returned all funds.  I was not directly affected by this issue, but I would like to send a BTC donation his way nonetheless.  Has an address or fund been established?

Please see the wiki page on assets: https://wiki.counterparty.co/w/Assets.

It is incomplete and needs formatting, but it should give you the info you need to use the distributed exchange. Please post your comments, criticisms, suggestions, etc. on the official forum "assets wiki" thread.

Asset Issuance Protocol Question:

I have created an asset and I need to retire it. I am thinking about making it callable, but I don' know the call date and I don't know the call price as yet, but I would like the option to retire the asset if I am in possession of it and to remove it from the Counterparty Asset database.

How is this possible?

You should be able to build counterpartyd from source on a 32-bit machine (windows or linux) without an issue. If this is not the case, let us know.

Announcement: Counterparty's weekly blog is live!

We will be writing a blog post every week, collating the most important information, so that the community does not have to sift through pages of forum threads to stay up-to-date.

The blog will focus on developments within the Counterparty project and community. Topics may include: significant updates to the reference client, announcement of bounties, interesting uses of the Counterparty protocol, as well as new collaborative efforts with members in- and outside the digital currency community.

On that note, in the first blog post, we announce that the Counterparty team has hired two Bitcoin security experts to audit Counterparty's code! For further information, continue reading here: https://counterparty.co/sergio-lerner-peter-todd.
