Just thought of something while taking a dump  

How come XCP doesn't have a multipool which mine other coins, buy XCP and pay to the miners with XCP?

I am in the process of making one.
hope the community here will support it.

Any news about this? GPU mining is not really profitable anymore so maybe with multipool we can get much publicity for xcp then when price start go up?

Even if it was profitable, XCP must have a multipool since it is not mineable.

It will provide constant buying power as well.

Will Swarm take only BTC, or BTC and XCP for its fundraising system?

Is it possible to have user created subassets, and then have the subassets trade on the decentralized exchange?  For example say I create the asset EXAMPLESHOPNAME on Counterparty, could I have EXAMPLESHOPNAME/IPHONEFIVEBRANDNEW and EXAMPLESHOPNAME/ONEOUNCEOFSILVER, such that if I have the private key for EXAMPLESHOPNAME I could control all the subassets.  This would be somewhat analogous to subdomains and could enable the following features and probably many more I cannot think of:

Multiple items for sale at one online shop
Different share/debt classes
Different product versions (e.g. EXAMPLESHOPNAME/IPHONE/FIVE/NEW)

The very short answer is that there are things that are legal, things that are illegal, and that some things that no one knows how they will be treated. We are doing things in both the legal and "no one knows" category.

This is a slight mistake and is currently being corrected in the article. Our target is 4,000 BTC. We will accept an additional 17,000 BTC in a second phase at a slightly lower rate of exchange.

If we raise a larger amount these additional funds will be used to underwrite future coin launches.
