I would do a 0.000001 auto cash out at any 42 pools now (Txfee is 0.00000001, which is only 1% of that).
So at least in the event of an successful attack, you won't be having more than that in the pool. But any time after the attack until it's get fixed your hash power is lost. That's the best you could do rather than going on a super pool with enhanced securities, which is just not available for 42 yet..

Some pools, like HashFaster's will not allow you to change the auto-payment threshold below 1.0 which is stupid IMHO because no one is going to be able to get 1.0 at this rate of diff increase.

Has there been any word on if anyone will get coins back from pooljunkie?

So cryptopools is down. Though I would explain the funnyness of it.

1.They come back up and push that they back on track and ready to go.
2. The stop payouts because of possible brute force attacks (this means noone can withdraw ANY coins)
3. Site goes down, obviously there efforts to stop the brute force failed miserably.
4. Whoever did get to hack them got the chance to steal every single coin mined because the pool STOPPED PAYOUTS.

So either the pool is extremely wealthy at this moment, or with there stopping of withdrawals, have made some hacker very wealthy.

Indeed they were compromised somehow, because when I logged in the Payment address I had was different than the one for my wallet, in fact it was two address that stole from my account there. They stole est. 0.00000502, however cryptopools managers were able to get me 0.00000402 of that back.

In fact it was I who called attention to the thefts. It was either call attention to it or continue letting some ass-hat steal peoples coins.

I have a feeling the multiple DDoS attacks on several of the pool ops are actually attempts to compromise the pools to get in and steal coins, change deposit addresses, etc. I would keep an eye on any mining accounts on any pools you have that are mining 42.

Admin from http://42.dedicatedpool.com here.

The attacks on dedicatedpool.com were 6 pronged.  There were UDP floods, TCP syn, DDoS, layer-7 http GET.. anything you can think of they threw at us.  We have upgraded our attack threshold and are continuing to improve our defenses.

When a site is DDoS'd the attackers can't access the site either.

Honestly the DDoS'd are more of an attempt by people who want to steal hash rates.  The hackers are working separately just using user lists and passwords attempting to hack accounts - I don't think they are related - they have different motives.

The best thing you can do to defend yourself against hacks of your user accounts is to use a password manger such as "Password Safe" .  It is opensource and highly recommended.  Use a different password and pin on each website - laziness leads to sadness when dealing with money.

The best way you can discourage DDoS attacks is not to flip to another pool when one gets DDoS'd.  They are counting on the fact that you will take your hash elsewhere.  Fortunately at dedicatedpool.com we have a very loyal userbase that will stick it out through good times and the bad.  We are so lucky.

EVERYONE THERE IS NUMEROUS REPORTS WITH PROBLEMS CASHING OUT @ pooljunkie.nl

PLEASE BE WISE AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
I do need a reason of response from pooljunkie in the next 6 hours explaining
why they are not allowing users to cash out. Please send them a message
asking them to pm me (link this post) and I will investigate this myself.

Please stick with my CURRENT POOL recommendations
1) P2pool
3) 42.cryptopools.com
[/b]
and if you want your POOL listed- send me a private message with how long you've been in business,
how many users you have currently using the site (with stats) and  how you measure security for the pool and its users. Otherwise, we will start removing pools from the list.

Recommended Exchange:
ONLY Cryptsy: https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/141

The worse thing about it is there is still 600MH/s plus miners mining at pooljunkie.  It will be a nice pay day for these scammers again.

http://42.hackshard.com   this pool is stealing my coins!

Why you think my pool is stealing your coins?  I run more then 4 pools. I have been running pools for an extremely long time and I do NOT steal from my users.  If you are worried because you see 0.00000 in your balance that is because your balance only shows 5 digits. view the "Edit Account" page to get an accurate reading of your balance.  Blocks show up as 0.00 because they payout to little as well.  Trust me when I tell you. you are NOT having anything stolen from you.

SS of a few of the withdraws.

Working fine for all these people.

You stated that your payout address is invalid.  That is impossible. nobody has access to edit anyones payout address on my system except the user and myself.

Also, Auto Payouts do not occur until .0001  I don't know anyone who has even earned .0001 on my pool yet personally.  This means one of two things.

1. You shared your username and pin with someone who changed your address and initiated a manual payout.
2. You typed the incorrect information and initiated a manual payout.

Either way, I am not stealing from my users.  I run an honest Mining business here.  Please do not plaster my name with the word "scam" on it without even contacting me to ask me where your money is.

http://42.hackshard.com
Hashing away at over 600mhash now.  Customized pplns payouts to ensure you don't lose any currency. even 0.1 satoshi is calculated.
Auto Payouts are limited to .0001 by php-mpos at this time to prevent you from having to use scientific calculations of stuff like 1.0E-7. If you can't wait for .0001 (which most of us can't) Initiate a manual payout and it will go through.  Our webpage will list your account balance in a scientific formula due to limitations.  Dashboard may not list anything due to it only calculating 5 numbers.  If you have questions hop on irc!

hashco.ws

Should be taken out of the OP.  It is there just to abuse the coin hopping on it back and forth driving difficulty high and low.
Is this what you want from your coin ?

Its not a true 42 pool.  Once its done abusing it.  It will drop 42 and move on to the next coin to exploit.

hi Devianttwo , im watching for this option you say in edit account to see normal numbers but dont find , en my wallet show 9.9E-7  help thanks

that is a scientific number. it means 9.9 (move decimal point 7 numbers) so 0.00000099  I believe.  Use a scientific calculator to double check.
