Lol, so all sites from the netherlands are untrusted or scam? You made my day kid.
That is not my point... anyone can scam on any domain, my point is to do a WHOIS for the domain name... but its easier for others to NOT pass a verification process through others TLDs.. I know some domain registers are STRICT as to what is listed in the WHOIS... and some don't care. So, don't take it as in NL domains could be scam. That is not true.. the idea is the user must do their research for WHOIS and Company History before starting their service. Also, CONTACT a pool, do your own research... ask them questions before signing up. We will do some homework ourselves to help the community, but we cannot do everything ourselves... its all up to you. and yes, I will correct myself here with the edit... I see why that could have been interrupted that way. Edited original post. wow you're a spammer. reported. you clearly have an agenda to make other pools look bad. your post history clearly shows this. gtfo.

Maco is just trying to keep everyone safe. If someone reports a pool for scamming or being hacked we have to take action to prevent other users from being harmed.
If a pool is reported they are put under the possible technical difficulty's section until they PM either me or Maco to be removed and put back on the recommended or regular pools list.

Clearly, this is something we are investigating and my intention is to make sure 42 is being serviced properly. So what is wrong with some extra security measures if I am protecting YOU? The reason why I recommended p2pool is because there is no account withdrawals.. However most pools with 42 has been good and tested working... Except for some new issues popping up from users. Also cryptopools opted out unti they come back. I love pools, its a big foundation of mining, and we want more... but after seeing so many of these reports, we need the pools to contact us with some verified info to help protect their users and think of security functions to protect everyone.

************ NOTICE TO ALL USERS *******************
PLEASE STOP USING HACKSHARDS POOL - Lots of reports coming in with issues and theft. Also, stop using .nl or untrusted/easy to scam domains. Do some research yourself, do a WHOIS LOOK UP. Don't go after NEWLY developed domains, GO for long-term pools that have a reputation and good security mechanism.
ALWAYS LOOK AT OP for UPDATES, VERIFIED & RECOMMENDED LIST OF POOLS!
Also, CryptoPools.com is going down. DO NOT USE IT EITHER!!!
All Pools must go to Verification Processes to be ADDED @ OP for 'RECOMMENDED' Pool Choices
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND p2pool.org
Lol, so all sites from the netherlands are untrusted or scam? You made my day kid. +1 WTF

I apologize for the comment about .nl domains, there is nothing against .nl domains...
I went ahead and corrected myself in my original post. All I am asking is for users to do their own whois research and contact pools themselves. And if we notice there is a pool on the technical difficulties list, we will announce it so people know about it before loses occur. It's just to protect the users.

Just been looking at the stats for a pool I am on for the last round. There are over 900 workers there at the moment.
So many people got paid 0 dents, those at the bottom with lower hashrates Do they even know they are not going to get anything??
It is sad!
It is a shame there is not a system where the top 20 people end up having maybe 2 or 3 dents taken from their total, sometimes their totals are in the low hundreds, so if they all had maybe 3 dents or so taken from their total, it would be enough to give at least 1 dent to the people at the bottom.
When a pool gets lots of workers, it is going to happen, but I am wondering if some of those people at the bottom, and I mean this to all pools in general for this coin are the ones that are sometimes coming on this forum and then complaining they are being scammed out of money they are owed because they do not realise that there are not enough dents for them in the first place to share around.

+1 In just got this email: I this from pooljunkie admin?? Beware! I had one of those a couple of days ago, I was not too bothered as had not really mined at the pool anyway, I gave up pool mining after what happened to me on the first day mining this coin. On the positive side, it is nice that you get an email to tell you, that your account is having a problem. I did not get such emails at the pool I was on so was happily mining for hours and not even knowing that someone had been and got into my account and had taken all my coins.

Even though happyminers stole 0.00000200 of my dents, I am still mining there. But it seems like bad luck on the blocks. (500%)
Did everyone jump ship or something? Where is the cool kids pool at?

I think a pool on some popular altcoin (coinye coin possibly) was hacked and login info leaked. They have been trying these login credentials on all altcoin pools more than likely using a script.
Please be aware of this when using or signing up for a new pool and use a unique password.
Btw, if you guys didn't already know Maco is my partner in this project. Please treat him with the same respect that you would use toward me.

Thank you... I know a few of us are still waiting to here from myrinx. He only comes in to promote the pool but hasn't made any effort to get coins back. Or answer questions about the backup. In one post he mentioned 0.5 BTC worth was on a serve backup. Yet I believe it was much more than that Because I alone lost about 0.065 BTC or 0.000065 dents. My auto payout never triggered after 9 hours of mining (I was asleep). Yet he shifts the blame on the miners for not setting up auto payout. I also tried manual payout (when I woke up) and the site went down 10 minutes later, and returned with my account deleted. I have a small amount of faith he is being truthful and has a backup. But as each hour past I loose hope. If he doesn't restore the backup within the next 12 hours. I believe it would be safe to say he doesn't care. Edit : But just realized even in light of this its still on the recommend list facepalm.jpg
