Of course, criticism is welcome for 42Coin. If criticisms can be positively addressed then that can help to build confidence in this coin.
We are currently working to improve 42 in a few ways. One of which should help with the multipool issue. We are working with a few devs from other coins to get this accomplished properly. If anyone has denomination additions they would like to see added let me know and I will set up a vote to add them to the Qt eg. adding Dent to the drop down box in the send tab. We are also contemplating adding in block halving after 6 months, I would like to know what the community has to say about it. This would extend the block reward past the initial year. It might be a good idea to get some coins in circulation first before any halving occurs. But what do I know? I'm just an investor. The time-frame is up for discussion. But by 6 months we should have nearly 21 coins in existence. By adding in block halving every 6 months the final 21 coins would take somewhere around another year to a year and a half to be mined (I haven't done the proper math on it yet. )

The coins are hard to mine as is. Halving the block rewards after six months would probably be a good idea and drive up the price if a lot more demand exists for the coin by then. Having more 42 Coin for distribution for buying and selling would help. Maybe we could put together a pool and do a publicity stunt like Dogecoin did by funding something. Maybe a science project of some sort (42 is the answer). We could donate to Mars One and say "42 is the answer to everything on Mars." Just some ideas.

I have been thinking about this. If we did help fund something it would need to be unique. Although, even funding something is copying off of the latest dogecoin stunt. lol

Doge did it with much love and donations.

Block Reward for Doge is halving next month. Get ready for it to skyrocket in value just like btc did when it's block reward halved last Nov.

Woah. Then 42 Coin could really go to the moon! I have thought about putting up a satellite for a long time but never had the funds. With today's tech it could be done very cheaply. I'm thinking that the main computer could even be a raspberry pi or beaglebone. It would need a long range transmitter, it could be possible to use laser communications but hitting a one pound object in low earth orbit would be like shooting a flea off a dogs back, and the dog just so happens to be running at 1,000 mph I could use the current tech used in RC airplanes. With a directional antenna they are able to transmit a digital signal 50miles or more. the minimum distance of communication for low earth orbit is about 100miles. With the right antenna and amplifier it might be possible. This would make it very cheap to build. As for usefulness? make it a seednode and let it mine on its little arm cpu. If the world comes to an end. 42 will still be there.

Certainly a unique and very boldly idea. But I don't have the imagination to come up with ideas how that would function as anything else than a "space billboard" what people can't even see with naked eyes. Would it be possible to use it as an "ultimate space backup" of the blockchain (yes, I am trolling with these "space thingies" , but I am serious with the question though ).

Yes, the forum gave me a "bad getaway" error for some minutes after I hit "Post" and I didn't read back after it finally came through. Why not a Kaveri APU? May be AMD would budge in! (At least with a free APU if nothing else.) I saw how they tried to promote the new Kaveri APU with it's scrypt mining performance! It's not that mobile, but if AMD is interested, they could certainly build a custom PCB for this purpose with the required chipset.

Yesterday one guy say lot was scam coin when people say it will rise. Answer : x3 on Crypsty (I have some of them forget on one pool...so i have had one idea)
I think that multipool that doesn't convert coin directly on bitcoin is a good think in one sense : It can help smalls coins to be mined. I have 10-20 amount of coins mined and forget on wallets. (Some of my vps/dedicated mine on multipool h24 since years with 1-2 thread)
Remember feeling the day where you find 20$ in the pocket of your old pants..
We can imagine a multipool that bet on 10 cryptos currencies in middle/long term like edge founds.
The biggest problem is the easy cash for the administrator of their pools. (multipool with btc payout)
Miners sells immediatly unless regarding coins evolution and are agree with btc dominiation (ty Asics). If Admin follow the news and the charts he can make a LOTT of money : Having some btc to payout miners and keep a little percent of each alt to make high profit like doge or Lot increase yersterday/today.
You will never avoid multipool to kill coin if you try to slow them.
It based on my experience : I have one MMORPG coded in C++ and since years i'm fighting against cheaters who wants to abuse the system (auto-xp, bots) and spend hundred of hours to track them, code anticheat, pay people to find them... The fight was unfair, cheaters would wins the battle. So now, i'm working with them and reward them to help me to improve my client/server and now ? => pretty none cheat.
So you can consider Multipool that can have a very high hashrate and find a way with them : they can invest some part of your coins in long term. Finding a great deal for both would be the best in my opinion. This can help to have a certain way of stability.

I don't know how did AMD come up with name "Kaveri", but it's finnish word and means "friend". It would be nice to get 42 with Kaveri in the space so we could have friend mining 42 in space. I don't know, maybe this sounds stupid, but it's just an idea.

Wow. I bought 0.0005 at 470 cause my cheaper orders weren't going through. I plan to hold my 0.001 and trade my 0.0005 once it skyrockets.
