The coins are hard to mine as is. Halving the block rewards after six months would probably be a good idea and drive up the price if a lot more demand exists for the coin by then. Having more 42 Coin for distribution for buying and selling would help. Maybe we could put together a pool and do a publicity stunt like Dogecoin did by funding something. Maybe a science project of some sort (42 is the answer). We could donate to Mars One and say "42 is the answer to everything on Mars." Just some ideas.
I have been thinking about this. If we did help fund something it would need to be unique. Although, even funding something is copying off of the latest dogecoin stunt. lol It isn't about the funding; It is showcasing the coin as a means of payment. Bitcoin did it with pizzas. Doge did it with much love and donations. It costs about $10,000 to put a 1 pound object into space. We could put up a micro satellite for around $20,000 dev budget and $10,000 to put it in space. Woah. Then 42 Coin could really go to the moon! That would be pretty cool. I'd be on board helping with something like that. It costs NASA 10K/lb to put something into Space. Commercially it's cheaper, like 1k/lb.

I'm quite the Hammer

Fuck putting it in orbit; How about we put it literally on the moon. That would make Hendo and 42 famous. We'd have bragging rights for literally going to the moon for real.

Getting it there isn't too hard. Basic astrophysics, and it would be pretty cheap. Landing it ... not so simple, or cheap. With that said, it's doable, but would need allot more than 30K, and it would take a while to get from orbit to the moon to be economical (about 1 year to do it cheap). However, it would create a media blitz of epic proportion for sure. It would also be just damn cool.

But i thing halving the mining profit after a half year would be great, because you can mine a longer time and miner will get a longer time earnings from mining. I love the coin and the idea. The only thing that i do not like is that after only one year all coins are mined... i think this could be / get a problem... we will see. nobody knows that...

Question (may have already been asked/clarified): Say you have 100 workers (equal hash rates) in a pool and the reward is 42 dents. Does everyone get 0.42 dent? Or do 42 workers get 1 dent each and the rest 0? Is the dent divisible?

on every round you get shares for your work. if you have 100 workers you get more shares. If a Pool is finding a Block all users will get paid depending on the shares they have.
you mine with one worker and 4 Mhs or 100 Worker 0,04 Mhs -> the result is the same ! It makes no difference
