This is the reason behind my 42 sell yesterday.
I didn't regret it. I bought COL at 18 and sold it at 28. And 42 only got cheeper today, but I doubt I will buy back my ~0.0042 of [42]. It's a shame, I know. But this thing about AlienCoin...

I still believe completely to this coin (holding firmly my stack), It's beet great start and the coin is still young. People need some patience, you just can't expect your (at least mine) favorite altcoin to be the most profitable/valuable all the time. Give some time to it. I'm positive that Maco and Hendo have been doing tremendously good work for the 42 coin so far. If you cannot see them posting 24/7 it does not mean that they have abandoned the coin. I don't know why ppl start to spread some strange rumors to what I don't see any ground to it. Let them talk. All good to ALL 42 lovers! Peace!

But what would you make out of the fact that they lauched their next coin already?
May be they will have more than enough time for two coins. May be not. My be they will have to choose one of the two, and may be that will be 42. May be both of these coins will be abandoned entirely (may be for a third coin).
The point is, that this coin now looks shady and they don't care to explain anything which is bad for business.

if it had hit exchanges later it wouldn't get shaken by multipools that hard now, so count me in by thinking the same...i'm also holding and hoping this mess will resolve...

hopefully people will spread the word about this issue and stop using multipools (unless the behave responsible)...
