Just wondering if someone has come across this. Middlecoin went to shite today so Im switching my massive 2MHs to cach coin. It appears to be hashing at full speed but Im getting a 100% reject in cgminer saying (share is above target)

this is my config file. Im using the scrypt-jane 3.7.2 version of cgminer, 3x 7850s in win 8 64 bit

yes, cgminer-3.7.2-sj-0.02 from https://sites.google.com/site/rmdavidson/

perhaps "kernel" : "scrypt,scrypt,scrypt", should be "kernel" : "scrypt-jane", ?

I tried that and cgminer wouldn't even run

edit, just tried it again and cgminer is running now, but its doing same thing, rejecting 100% shares above target

i don't use config file so im not sure how it is suposed to look like,
in my bat i have this.

Code:
cgminer -o http://p2cache.syware.de:8336 -u Ce9hvb5QAYvD1wpHa1hj5Hqc3cDceojJpF -p x --scrypt-jane --sj-nfmin 4 --sj-nfmax 30 --sj-time 1388949883 -g 2 -w 256 -I 13 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1500 --gpu-powertune -20 --thread-concurrency 8192
pause

i could output a config file for you when im off duty..

thanks that would be good, I find it easier working in a config file rather than a bat file (no idea, my computer just seems to like the config better)

Please distribute the hashrate and join P2Pools

Since we still only have on traditional pool I strongly urge you to distribute your hashrate to strenghten the coin!

At the same time I have again good news:
http://cache.cryptoprojects.eu:8336 has been updated to the latest wallet and the pool has been upgraded so on Sunday you can continue mining without any issues!

Happy P2P Mining - and please distribute your hashrate, information on p2pools can be found here:

I'm still getting 0.00 stake with 5.0.0 windows qt wallet

i think thats because of line 1028 of the main.cpp

Code:
if(pindexBest->GetBlockTime() >= 1393140000)
            nSubsidy = nCoinAge * 33 * nRewardCoinYear / (365 * 33 + 8);

The changes in the codes havent yet an influence.
After that specific time, should be the 23 feb, changes will apply.

I've set up second traditional pool at http://pool.cachecoin.net

If somebody is reading this and still mining at cach.catcoin.cz consider switching either to the second pool or one of p2pool nodes. As an incentive to switch, the second pool has currently lower fees (half the percentage of first pool fees). Once enough people will switch either to second pool or to p2pool nodes, I'll lower the fee on the first pool, so both pools will have equal, or very close to equal fees (hoping to keep the pool hashrates balanced to be approximately equal on both pools and I hope that by setting the fee slightly above fees in p2pool nodes it will balance the hashrate a bit in favor of p2pool nodes).

Also, new registrations are now closed on first pool, so new users have to mine either at second pool or one of P2pool nodes (or mine solo, but unless they have really good mining rig, I wouldn't recommend that).

Also, someone from USA requested my help with setting up own CACH mining pool, so we may soon have third traditional (mpos) pool for CACH mining (hosted on another continent than first two, so perhaps it will end up as preferred pool for US users, further distributing the hashrate).

PLEASE DISTRIBUTE YOUR HASHRATE

Singula has been working hard to set up a second pool so we can make sure that the network is protected against attacks - now even though registrations are closed, people still just make more workers to add to the first pool. Please when you want to mine move some of your miners away from cach.catcoin.cz either to p2p or to the alternative pool at pool.cachecoin.net.
