Just finished losing the tourney.  It was awesome.  I also got 2 girls playing that aren't into bitcion really but are into poker.

We all lost though.

now they want to buy more bitcoins but I'm not sure about the easiest way to buy them.

I've never really bought them, just mined and invested on the GLBSE.

Whats the simplest most girl friendly way to buy bitcoins?

I'll cover BitInstant fees if you forward the BitInstant receipt email to admin@sealswithclubs.eu and include your username. That makes BitInstant the best way for sure.

This is not an official thing, but I will do it for a while.

Cool great to know.

Tell me, when you fund from bit instant do they send the bitcoins to you, or do they just fund your mt. gox account and you have to do the trading?

It used to make you pick an exchange, but now you can choose bitcoin to email via coinapult to get them direct to email. I haven't personally done it, but it sounds really simple. There is a $1 fee for that according to bitinstant's fee page. Coinapult itself is a free service.

Any plans on adding other tournaments like this? Perhaps on Saturday or Wednesday?

Not another guarantee, but I am willing to try new things on the schedule. Maybe a 1BTC "warm-up" on Saturday at the same time (6pm ET)?

Yeah that would be awesome I'd prefer 2 or more BTC entry though for better prizes.

Call the tournament something else besides "warm up", gotta attract people and I don't think that sounds very attractive.

Do a tourny for Wednesday too. Tongue

Hmm, then they need a 3:00 EST tournament, probably would work best on a Saturday.

Make it 4 BTC buy in.  Grin

Can I ask how you guys make money?  Are you losing money at this point in time or breaking even or making a profit?

Just want to see you succeed thats all.

Been playing for a week now and have had no problems.

Well for some reason the lobby isn't loading right now, and I'm getting teh seals with clubs logo.. but I'm thinking its maintenence or something.

No maintenance happening now. Did it work after a reload? Working fine when I test and no other complaints. If the reload doesn't work try clearing browser cache, closing browser and try again.

We take a rake from cash games and there is a fee on tournaments. Income is variable, but we consistently cover expenses and promos.

thats good to know free! i sometimes wondered that myself since it really does seem like you are giving a ton of btc away (not complaining, but i also wanna see site grow/succeed).  Bitinstant is a good way to get btc very fast and easy. i still have the money sent to the exchanges bc i feel you get a slightly better price but thats just me. for a non bitcoiner the catapult thing is pretty easy.  If you hang around seals long enough you can usually find players willing to sell chips for dwolla etc also.  Today I had a friend ask me about bitcoins because apparently his father in law plays poker for bitcoins and he wants to get in on the action! great sign! although i sure hope i've never fleeced his father in law...

Tym's Get Rich Slow scheme: plse send .00001 to
