no coinbase's dismal record of taking forever to fill orders is a well worn gripe of seals players.  from what i've heard, the first time you use them you get your coins immediately, then after that it takes a week or so.  with bitcoins climbing like they are i recommend eating the fees and using bitinstant.com because the convience of buying them today outweighs the money you could be losing from not owning them till next week!  ps go free go! i have the utmost in faith!

Is the problem with Cloudflare or something else?

Doubtful. Other cloudflare sites are fine.

We have confirmation that it is a heavy DDoS attack. Cloudflare isn't able to protect us from this one.

Ok, why is someone DDOS seals?

Do they expect a payment to stop? Or angry with losing their hand at poker?

I don't understand, it cost money to launch DDOS and they are not going to get paid out, so what the hell?

Cloudflare is a joke.  I suppose it would protect you from a 12 year old.

i deleted my rant about ddos bullies/extortionists because i remembered something i wanted to ask. i figure this thread is a good place to. i noticed the 1/1 cash game that opened up. it was a nice touch especially with bitcoin prices going crazy!  the question i wanted to ask was: are there any plans to fractionalize chips/change chip values with the dramatic rise in value of each chip?   anyway, keep up the great work free you know we're all behind you!

I never get this.. You can't pay any kind of random, because they will just want more next time. If you're not paying, why would anyone bother?

I don't know why.

We were back online for a while and I was able to make the Daily Bitcoin balance adjustments, but there was lag and we are offline again now.

Just an idea..

Can you put another server to a different address and post the new address here?

Or; let's collect a group of users around the globe and use port forward from a lot of addresses to be available.
Ie:
- real seals in a secret ip address
- a number of volunteers are given the real address and they forward needed ports to that address
- a list of volunteer's addresses are posted here

Every time a volunteer's address is DDOS:s down, it is blocked.

Honestly it might be worth moving the site to the darknet, or at least adding alternate access methods via a Tor hidden service and/or I2P.

Couldn't you get better DDOS protection?

I know that is how Scientology stopped the DDOS attacks, but I'm not sure how much this costs.

I hate to post this, BUT, I warned of this a year ago and ask him what would be the plan, just as it happened to BTConTilt.com and BTConTILT.com went belly up because they couldnt stop the DDOS attack and the DDOS never let up...

It has to me a major poker entity that is doing this to these infant bitcoin poker sites because they know bitcoin is the future of the onling gaming industry and they are scared.  It seems to have happened to Btcontilt.com right around the time they reached the same user volume of about 200-300 users like this site has recently done.

What we need is a mole to find out who it is, so seals can sue the ever living shit out of the cunts.
