Great site, looks like 1/2 NL has at least a couple tables running at almost all times. 2/4 to 5/10 NL is pretty common and if you start a table someone will join pretty quickly. Omaha also seems to run a fair amount.

The on the 30: tournament is a good one, typically 8-20 players registered.

Also a freeroll runs hourly, winner take all, 50 chip (.05 btc) to the winner. Typically 30-60 players, with quite a few sitting out, so odds are a bit better. Now if I can just figure out how to win it Smiley

Welcome to the site (hope I referred you)!  Great summary and very accurate.

Enjoy and good luck!

Would you consider reducing/eliminating the rake on the 10 chip hu sng game?

It's currently 9+1 and 11% rake is hard to beat in a heads up game.

For example the 50 chip game is 48+2, a reasonable 4% rake.

Thanks for the welcome kjlimo!

Woopsie, looks like somebody forgot what year it was.

So, is this tourney a mistake, or is it happening? if so, is it today or tomorrow?

I wanna play it nao!

Also, while I'm here, are there any plans to offer krill to tournament players? There are a bunch of people (myself included) who rarely play cash games anymore, so we have little to no krill & can't participate in all the cool freerolls cash players have access too.

So I guess you're on the west coast?

Mine says noon... didn't realize the site adjusted to local time.

We don't rake fractional chips and some players really wanted a 10 chip option to try out omaha. I'm going to add a 25 chip option which will have much closer to the normal rake since rounding will have a smaller effect. Possibly I'll remove the 10 chip option as well as I don't really like having a game with that high % rake.

It was a mistake, it is fixed now. This game starts tomorrow noon ET. Expect 1 chip tournaments with (relatively) nice guarantees at random times.

Krill for tournaments is possible, but not set yet.

Actually, I'm in Ireland (GMT+0), for some reason all website's get my time zone completely wrong. Smiley

But yeah, you're right, its supposed to adjust to local time.

I think it gets the time from the browser, you might be able to fix it in browser settings pretty easily. I assume the browser usually gets the time and zone from the system so you might double check that first.

Thanks for the quick response. A 25 chip game would be awesome!

Do you have plans to ever start using fractionals? Say if bitcoins went to $50 a piece it may be a good idea to have a .50/$1 game? Or maybe you will just switch 1 bitcoin=2,000 chips?

In the interest of open and honest communication with our customers, I feel it is important to announce that SealsWithClubs is currently under DDoS attack.

We recently rec'd this ransom note:

To:

<admin@sealswithclubs.eu>

We are doing a DDoS atack to www.sealswithclubs.eu and we aren't going
to
stop until we receive a payment of 60 BTC in the following adress:

1Le6gzuWtrrRCWMcD2GNBi74HBXDaBro4r

The sooner you pay, the sooner the site will work well again.
Don't wait, while the site is down you are losing money and reputation!

We have a lot of zombie pc's arround the world atacking your website
with dinamic ip's, you can't do anything.

PS: We can't see answers to this mail, don't try to negociate.

Greetings from Russia

we will pay no ransom and will consider this a security stress test.  We are working as hard as we can and welcome any opinions or help.

I will update this thread as we find more info and fight the attack.

This has been happening to loads of BTC businesses lately, BitStamp.net got pretty much the same ransom request not too long ago.

What a terrible business model. It's incredibly stupid to pay, because then others just target you for more extortion. At least when you pay off the Mafia for "protection", they actually do protect you against getting shaken down by rival gangs.

I agree, it isn't well thought out at all. Its probably just some kids that are doing it.

Wow, what a scary DDoS.  It actually took five seconds to load the website a half-hour or so ago.

Frankly, I'd put up with delays or an outage if DDoS-related without any loss of reputation.

If you paid off these lame fucks, I'd think y'all were a bunch of pussies, though.

ST6 is doing good work IMO.

We are still fighting the attack.

Freemoney with the aid of some outside help (thanks guys, you know who you are) is working like a boss on this with all available resources and polling for more.

We may be a small team, but we have so much determination.  We will keep fighting through this attack and will keep updating.

I notice some work going on.  If who looks like is on this is really on this (some of you may have seen the screen that I'm talking about), it will probably be very soon resolved.

Look forward to it being back up shortly.
