I really don't want to tell you this, but yeah, putting a QR code in the image makes it INSANELY easy to bot, much much easier than if it was just text.

I know I grabbed the last one (I promise I didn't bot it), but I could hack together a bot to grab them very easily.

I'd switch them back to text, and maybe add a captcha to the redeem code section on Seals?

tyvm.  i'll start getting more creative.  Multiple channels over image / qr code and handwritten text + the last 3 characters I speak on a youtube or something.

btw, the Android app is also launched for public beta:

*** WARNING:  We are currently in public beta of this software.   Use at your own risk.

SealsWithClubs is proud to announce the public beta launch of our android app.  Big shout to Seal Team 6 & most importantly 'deadserious' at sivv for doing such an amazing job on this project.  You can always grab the latest version here:

or you could...

Can you say how user funds are deposited, stored, and withdrawn at seals?  I'm not sure if I should be withdrawing every session or if it's ok to leave coins on there.

Just downloaded android app and it logged me out of my desktop client when I signed in, in the middle of a hand lol.

While I don't speak for Seals with Clubs, I'd say that I trust my deposits at Seals more than I trust my deposits at Paypal... that said I don't leave more than $100 in Paypal.

So as long as you leave less than $100 on Seals, I'd say you're good.

Even if I trust Seals with Clubs implicitly, I wouldn't trust anyone but my own personal cold wallet with any substantial amount of coin.

Right, so we're debating what is "substantial" so Seth define what is "substantial" and keep less than that on Seals Smiley

I wasn't really debating so much as agreeing or reinforcing.

This is a good question and something very important from a player standpoint.

1)  SwC does not disclose exactly how we store our coins in our cold wallet.   Freemoney can make a further statement on this matter if he wishes, but that is our company policy for obvious security reasons.

2)  After 1.5+ years of operation, we have never had an incident.  That being said, I know many players that deposit each session, play, then withdraw after they are done.  They usually go to sleep and wake up with confirmed coins in whatever wallet on whatever device or service they choose to use.  This is the least amount of trust you have to have in SwC and still play, and it is no problem from our perspective as we have paid around $30 total in btc transaction fees in those 1.5 years.  Fire coins on or off at will.

Your coins are safe at Seals. We don't use player funds for anything except paying players back. We have some coins that are potentially at risk for my convenience, but it is an amount I can cover without too much pain and if they were lost I would replace them immediately.

Still, I don't recommend that people leave coins unnecessarily with any business including Seals. So leave on what you might want to play with and know that it only takes about an hour at most  to add more if you get low.

Play Bitcoin Poker at sealswithclubs.eu. We're active and open to everyone.
