active work continues.

My personal best guess is still hours and hours away.

Freemoney + Seal Team 6 is working constantly, and as of now is actively engaged in server conditioning.

Should still be hours and hours, but the boys are on it and the end of this process should be massive DDoS protection by a company that specializes in it and SealsWithClubs running on a much faster machine.

While that doesn't help anyone out right now and we apologize for the extended downtime, we are doing our best and think the end result will be a much stronger SwC.

again I ask for patience and to bear with us.  It sucks.  I want it back too.  Freemoney likely wants it back most.  or maybe Crosby.

2 months later, same speech. Word by word !

I am in contact with Freemoney and the rest of Seal Team 6 including our Host company.   Freemoney, as usual, has 100% immersed himself in handling this situation as safely and quickly as possible, with safely first and foremost.

A guess that should be considered "Micon's Guess" for a timeframe as honestly and I can estimate in my head is ~ 6 hrs.  If it takes 12 hrs I won't be shocked.  If it takes more than 24 hours I will be shocked.

I agree with MrKnowITall in that we should have been more prepared.  This attack will make us stronger for the next one but I agree we need to be proactive and thinking multiple steps ahead as we are quickly becoming a nice target.

Blabla blabla

FTWbitcoinFTW ,you alone are expressing aggression.  Be nice bro! Relax.

For example : BTC-E used a "cloudflare" provider and also suffered DDoS attacks. This is  provider problem , not SWC, SWC TEAM do their best to solve the problems.

Agree. You should express your aggressions to those who arew behind the DDoS attack, not SwC.

If you don't mind me asking, whats the reason behind the attack? Have they asked for a ransom? Launching a attack can't be cheap.

So are you saying CB isn't working, or that Seals isn't cashing out?

Sorry just confused by your wording.
