The dev said it would take a long time to generate 1500 private keys. Your coins vanishing shouldn't have anything to do with the dev or this coin, should it? Did you have a password protected wallet out of curiosity?

When I imported the key an address was added to my wallet.
THAT address sent away the 45 smc.

It's no coincidence that it happened to us both.
Other user is Macromolecule, I pm'd him and he confirmed that his smc was also gone.

Edit: I have around 300 coins now, so if they had access to my wallet they would have sent everything right?
In other words, they did not have access to my wallet, but someone else had access to that key.
The only other person that have access to the key is the dev.

Since I generated the private keys in my wallet, the key is still there. That is why I explicitly said in the email to transfer your coins once you receive the private keys. Now you see the flaw in that distribution method and why its taking me longer to get them out.

Actually it didn't say that in my mail, you probably didn't add that untill the next mail since you said you were changing the mails as they went out.
But okey I understand, I do hope that I'll recieve a new key once you have figured out how to distribute the coins.

Thanks for the respone Smiley

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Anyone have a sense of what's going on Poloniex? Sent a hundred coins there to test it, deposit status on that transactions says COMPLETE yet balance says 0.

Well it is not working... :-(

I moved to coinmarket.io once it added SMC/BTC. Very low buy support though and price is low so I am buying and not selling...

Is all this whining for free coins??

Human beings are generally hopeful creatures. We often underestimate how long it takes to do things. It's entirely possible it would take 1, 2, 3, 4 more days to create private keys and associated balance transfers to those keys, and send out etc. Who knows what additional work he's had to do in recent days. I really can't believe how uptight some people are... or have I got that totally wrong?  Roll Eyes

IT WAS THE DEV, WHO OFFERED "COME SIGN UP EARLY FOR MY COIN AND I WILL GIVE YOU 45 COINS FOR DOING SO WHEN I LAUNCH, PEOPLE SIGNED UP AND DEV DIDN'T COME THROUGH. Noone is whining, they want the dev to hold up his end of the bargain. Why doesn't he get his butt over here and let us know?? Why is he on his other forum giving away free coins in ANOTHER give-away when he didn't complete the first one?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

The fact you're typing in capital letters and using 13 emoticons in a row proves my point. What effort did you go to? Enter an email address?! Take a chill pill as you're acting like an outraged child.

I outsourced sending coins to hash-so, but he never delivered, so now I have to redo it.
Well that sucks. Considering that pool again also has over 50% of network hashrate and switched from free to 1% "suggested donation" and 0.07 tx fees... I think I'm switching too. Appreciated the stability though, hope cryptotycoons or xhash work that well too.

It's 45 coins, jesus you guys. Stop whining!

Dev has been more than active in this thread - you'll get your $.50 worth of coins. He's not going anywhere. Get a hobby, or a job, or something to occupy your time better than posting 5 times every page about your missing coins. This is unbelievable. No "thank you" for working hard to set up forums, faucets, assist manage pools, continued drive in marketing of the coin...just "where are my 45 coins"?

Smartcoin - keep up the good work man. I'm sure the less vocal people appreciate what you're doing.

cool, don't downplay it though, 45 coins are worth $10.00.  I will buy as many lots of 45 coins from you as you have for .50 per 45 coins  Grin

Ignoring peopel who you don't want to hear is like sticking your fingers in your ear, it doesn't affect anyone else, it just limits what you hear or learn. If you are so affected by what someone says on an internet chat board, maybe the internet is not for you. I never ignore anyone, I like to hear what everyone thinks, even the people I don't like. I am an adult and never stick my fingers in my ears and go nananananananana. Now run along dearie!

Yeah, it feels almost criminal knowing that this coin definitely is going to move forward based on response.

I've bought a couple of thousand SMC so far, aiming to buy some more so if you feel like dumping coins on me - I am waiting at coinmarket.io!
