No, you're right. Everyone in such a situation can "fix" his/her wallet by moving coins. But some people complain about it.

Some people complain about everything! I think its ridiculous to have a hardfork just to accommodate the needs of the ones who do nothing for the coin.

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

Spring Staking Promotion

It is spring time, better weather, better prices so many good news.  Smiley However as always there is some cons. Percentage of coins being staked on regular basis dropped from above 20% to about 16%. It seems number of people decided to move their money onto exchanges and stopped staking. I would like to encourage the opposite trend.

The idea is to pay additional bonuses to people who stake. This is my current proposal:

Every 10th block being minted earns additional 100 NOBLE
Every 100th block being minted earns additional 1000 NOBLE
Every 1000th block being minted earns additional 10000 NOBLE
Every 10000th block being minted earns additional 100000 NOBLE

The reward is going to be paid with delay of up to several hours due to security precautions. So be patient and it will finally reach its destination Wink

I am going to devote 1 million coins from my own purse for this program. The coins were earned by working on bounties. This should provide enough funds to keep it going for whole April and maybe bit longer.

I am running some tests to see how this works so handful of people have already earned rewards Wink

Tentative date to start this program is 7th April

Please let me know what you think about this idea. Any comments, concerns, or maybe someone is willing to donate more funds to this? With more funds we could keep it running longer or maybe consider paying 1 million NOBLE for block number 400 000 which should be minted in about a month from now.

Hi eagleflies, thanks for running this incentive for staking.

I have contributed 500,000 Noble to the cause. Keep it going....

Thanks,

-Kushed

Hello fellow noble peeps.

On the bounty page there is a request for a wallet help page so I have created a help page for noble here http://cryptoprospectors.com/help/noble-wallet-help.html.

Community feedback would be great as well as explanations for all wallet CLI commands.

Been with Noble since the beginning  Grin

Glad to see the positive feedback. Also glad I can help out the project.

I think it would be helpful if we could get short explanations for all the wallet cli commands. Someone can PM me the list and I will add to the site.

thanks,
john

This is list of all cli commands https://github.com/eagleflies/noblecoin/blob/eagle/doc/cli_commands_list.txt

Regarding help pages it is great to have someone looking at this. Could you move those pages to our github page? I have been storing there some documentation already and it is good to keep things in a well known and secure place.

Do you mean screenshot of wallet after money was minted? Or something else?

Have you checked our website https://noblemovement.com/ ? Maybe you can find such image there. If not probably best idea would be to ask Rofo. Not sure if he reads this thread, hence maybe you can send him private message.

I have distributed my stakes between 100k and 200k amounts and 16 addresses in total in the wallet in the hope that none will get to old for stake and I have also kept wallet open 24/7 to test this, but still I have to resend every couple days as some get to old to stake. How can I fix this problem?

Quit making things hard on yourself , place ~ 2 million coins per block and leave it there.
That is what I did , no issues with blocks getting too old.  Smiley

 Cool

FYI:
No benefit to having it spread among 16 address either.
One Address is fine and less work for you.
