Wallet syncing questions:

Is it possible (we need a volunteer) to check the clean (after deleting config, nodes, wallet etc.) installation of Windows ZIP packge?
Does the Wallet sync out-of-the box or not?

Questions about wallet syncing are quite often... can we sort it out for good?

I made a total reinstall of my computer 3 days ago, and my wallet was NOT syncing out-of-the-box using the .zip-file. I had to create a .conf-file since it wasn't any in the zip, and then add the nodes I mentioned above manually to get connections to the network.

Would be good to get feedback from more people though.

I recently launched a store, and am selling 0% fees to all of my pools for $1!!! Some of you have paid this in fees time over time already =)

I'd also accept the equivalent in the pools coin equivelent=)
Check it out!!

store.cryptotycoons.com

Also feel free to post items for sale! Its a craigslist style store. Currently prices are listed in $$ due to how unstable the prices are.
In a future release there will be live conversions to various alt coins at the time of listing.
The site handles no coin/money; similar to craigslist, you send an email to the owner to begin negotiations.

Will be uploading a new .zip package shortly for the Windows users with included .conf file (with updated nodes Polo just mentioned) as well as a short readme for how .conf files work and how they are added to the AppData directory for wallets. If anyone would like to follow up on further ways of streamlining this at least for now please PM me or discuss here and we'd be happy to sort something out. Cheers.

I love this type of smart advertisement.
It plays with your IMAGINATION.

https://i.imgur.com/XGgrekq.png

I thought that maybe we could come up with something similar?

1. A poster advertising Marketplace, separated from the main site: hosted as an image somewhere else
  — so it will quickly load and fill the screen
  — and you can easily give the link to anyone.

    Link injections.
        Link bombing.
             Never spam — remember this.

2. On the poster for example my idea:

 A) the screenshot of user miKnutty (edit: OR user Hueristic but we need better resolution) buying a brand new R9 270 GPU from Amazon, paying only $25 + 221k Nobl
(from this special post #3481: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402667.msg5108695#msg5108695)

 B) the screenshot of a quote trom this special  post:
    — Are you saying that 221k Noblecoins got you $185 USD worth of giftcards?

    — Yep.

 C) Shock, unbelievability and everything.

But I'm not good at Photoshop. Anyone? Other ideas? I think we need more artwork from users themselves to show our engagement and interest.

EDit 2:
My last minute TIP:
Look at http://tools.noblemovement.com
Look at Mining difficulty
Look at the "All" timeframe.
Look at the chart.

We are growing all the time!
Don't look at the price, because it's not a good indicator of our everyday growth.

Many coins do small giveaways for members signing petitions to get onto exchanges. May not be a bad idea; it'd bring some more life to this thread and get the signatures needed faster, all while decreasing the amount of premine which is probably the only reason some exchanges are still hesitant to add us!
