maybe next days price rocket to over 150 satoshi...

I think it'll shoot up past 120 again sometime today. Price is being manipulated way to much for a large party not to be planning something
To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if there was a good bit of manipulation, but there may be some downward pressure on price due to the marketplace.

For me, I thought the stable floor was at 105, and with a differential of 12%, that would make a downward pressure cap at around 90. But it's clearly gone through that barrier. It could be due to the recovery trend of BTC or downright manipulation. The fact that market cap has dipped below $300k is concerning though.

It is definitely a bot I have been battleing and it has deeper pockets (well at least online Smiley).

I've wasted 2 days fighting it and if I had gone and played poker I'd be up 1/2 a grand by now. LOL this shit is too addicting, Also the snow is really piled up out there! Anyone ever heard of James Woods? I beat him for $450 one hand last month. Smiley That was fun.

i was fighting the same thing ( maybe the same person) over on coinmarket.oi last week. i do find it interesting, that Noble has garnered this kind of attention from a big pocket guy.

any ideas as to how to combat this kind of action?

what steps are you taking to battle it?
whats he doing?

I would caution against combating significant manipulators (especially if their pockets are big enough). The best that you can do is take from their share by obtaining profits along the way. When their share starts to be impacted it provides a slight bit of disincentive.

If you feel compelled to combat strong downward pressure, don't make the mistake of making a huge wall. A lot of the time, that's exactly what they want.

actually having a lot of fun with coinex.pw...

I started out with 50k and walked away with 71288 due to the last price dump... and i actually managed to catch some of those fake bot buys Tongue so was selling at 106 and buying at 83.. the one thing i like/dont like about coinex.. is that due to auto sell option of the mining the highest buy price gets filled sooner or later... but the buys are like 2.xx noble etc.. sigh so sometimes it takes forever to get a buy filled.

At least i think there is an auto sell option for the mining..

Any links on how to set  up a bot?

yeah, i was able to make a little of of SXC because of a bot. but in the end the constant downward pressure caused interest in the coin to wane

No I don't know how to combat the damn thing or where to get one but we need one to combat this manipulation.

Maybe if we all pooled together to work on it?

I have to get real life shit done right now but anyone that has info on this post it or pm me.

I would be willing to setup an account we can all pool into and give somone trustworthy like rofo control of our own "pool funded" Bot.

I don't see how this manipulation can be good for this coin. Maybe somone more knowledgable in the markets can spread some light on this. I have only been playing the exchanges since Nobl hit coinEX so I am far from an expert. But I am good at seeing trends and have made a nice profit.

Speaking of which stupid bot trying to fake my buy thinking i was a bot.

Hueristic.. It will be hard to combat manipulation at this stage...

Forget the buys at this stage... look at the sells..we have about 444K at 83 and 129k at 89 and thats pretty much the only significant sell volume till 105.. majority of Noble Traders hasve probably placed their sells at higher prices so it cant be seen at the moment.

NobleCoin & The Water Project

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update regarding The Water Project. I am personally a little fired up at the moment following a heated troll discussion with someone on our NobleCoin Facebook page (I've included it below for 'light' reading - he's since deleted the post). We have confirmed with Peter that all the donations remaining on the page are legitimate and are staying, we've also 'covered' the reversals to bring the total to $4,300.

What we would like to do now is make good with our initial target of $5,000 and hand the reins over to Peter at The Water Project so that he can put our donations to good use sooner rather than later. A $7,500 target seems tough for us in this bear market and we intend to continue with a second Water Project regardless. We felt we could do more good if we wrap this up and get the project going so we can feel like we've achieved something worthwhile in this crazy scene. I would also like to invite again anyone who is aware of charitable causes working with crypto who would like to get involved with us to get in touch.

We will be donating a final 1BTC worth to the project today regardless to get over the finish line.

If you would like to make a final donation please feel free to go directly to the page and help us get even further than the $5,000 before Peter signs it off. If you would like to donate to the NOBLE address so we can transfer it over that also works. Anything we don't donate to this round will be used for the second Water Project. After the conversation posted, I would personally like to stress that if there is any doubt with the amounts given to the public address or the amounts donated to The Water Project PLEASE voice them here. We will address them, make sure it adds up and donate extra if necessary until everyone is happy that we've done right by them.

Let's begin our second step today.

The Facebook thing. Wow. Troll be trollin' all day long.

I think it's a great idea that you guys have committed to the first goal of $5k instead of waiting for the bear market to be reversed.

Do you have any plans to spread this information throughout the crypto-community besides by posts/word of mouth? I think this is a huge milestone! Also, are there any plans on displaying what was donated (kinda like the public ledger) and by who (if they are okay with that information being divulged)? If so, how will you be presenting it? Since you guys are sharing such monumental news, I think there will be some backlash and credulity by competing camps.

That said, I think you guys have done wonderful things and have shown that you are anything but schemers. Keep up the great work!

Definitely, I will be going through the addresses donated to the address and listing them if they give permission in recognition.

Otherwise the info so far is here: https://thewaterproject.org/community/profile/jason-curby

Peter will keep us constantly updated with photos, locations and videos as the project nears completion, though my understanding is it can take a lot of time to finalize.

In terms of publicity and media I know you guys want it. We will be sharing it through Facebook, Twitter & Reddit (the usual channels). Unfortunately, the story of NobleCoin getting on board with the Water Project was completely ignored by media who focused only on covering the Worldcoinwell. We will be publicising and emailing this story also once we 'officially' meet the milestone and complete the project. We pumped out dozens of emails (myself and the ambassadors) detailing the fact a major organisation was pushing for crypto acceptance for international charitable uses: https://thewaterproject.org/welcome-cryptos.php as well as details of our own project. It does seem that stories involving NobleCoin just aren't considered newsworthy to a relatively 'elitist' media which is why we need to rely on word of mouth for now.
