Summer is tough across the board and our PoS delay isn't helping. I promise you though NOBL is not going to be a coin forgotten about and left behind come 2015. If you've already got a good stack diversify, just don't lose heart over the next few months.

Meh, I don't have the time or the effort to chase new coins nowadays. I'll keep collecting Noble, I still believe it is going somewhere big Smiley

Edit: I'm still waiting on the SSL certificate for marketplace.noblemovement.com to be delivered to our admin email. The delay might be because of the weekend, but it's coming.
Speaking of SSL, the Noblecoin. explorer now supports SSL as well

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/nobl/

I'll setup automatic redirection from http to https in the next days, but feel free to update the links Smiley

It works me fine, thanx.

I agree, noble price is so cheap right now.  I can't believe how far it has fallen and for no good reason.  Looking to buy some but I'm gonna wait for it to level off first just in case.

It won't go any lower than this dude, I am just waiting for my BTC to clear and am buying some more.

I hope you're right.  I thought last month noble and other alts were stupid cheap and most are now down another 50%-75% which is shocking to me.  It's like a giveaway at these levels.  If I had enough BTC I'd buy now and I'd keep buying if it goes lower.  Easy 10-fold, maybe a lot more.

I've put in an order for another 2.6m. At this price I can't afford not to.

I know that Noble has been consistently underpriced, but at 11/12 satoshis it is just a joke. I thought I had got a bargain when I bought a load for 24.

When it was 100 something satoshi, I thought it was pretty cheap back then hah.
Just need to get through the summer time. Plus, the incoming releases should help aswell!

Will the new PoS update cut back on the subsidy and max coin supply?  5 billion is a bit too much.

personally i still like the idea of it being around 15 billion. their needs to be enough liquidity to facilitate day to day purchases. 21 million is not enough. that and there is currently around $60 trillion in existence on the planet. you can't replace that with a total supply of 21 million. each bitcoin would have to be worth around $ 2.8 million. now add bitcoin transfer fees in at that rate, you could be paying up to $2800 just to move your money. now if we do the same thing to Noble, with 15 billion, it comes to an easy $4000. if we also compare the fees at that rate as well it comes to $4 to move your money.

now i know that the possibility of this is practically nil, but in the intrest of keeping it simple, i just used the entire cash supply of the planet ( a direct global conversion to bitcoin), and i know that i'm not including all of the debt, and this, that, and the other thing, etc... just cash.

can you see how much of a pain in the as that is? paying $4 to buy a $1 pack of gum, for a total of $5 dollars. try doing that when it costs $2,800 to buy that $1 pack of gum, for a total of $2,801 Grin.

the total amount should probably be around 60 billion, if that is the standard. but then you would need to convert all of the debt and everything. but the exchange must always cost less than the item being exchanged.

Yes. If not for a short term investment, the integrity and determinedness that the dev team has shown will result in great things in the future.

The current price for the coin is criminal, if I had some more money I would buy as many as I can.

I'm with you on this one. Personally I hate all of the decimal places that are used in BTC currently. In my mind one coin should be enough to buy a loaf of bread.

We have been using 2 decimals in most fiat currencies forever. I don't think this will become a problem anytime soon as the market caps of most coins will not be close to these numbers. Larger number of coins will probably scare some people.

Small update:

Marketplace good to go v2: https://marketplace.noblemovement.com. New cards, bullion still in the works (sorry - tax, legal & costs in Aus.), SSL - double checking products in stock & will enter the external merchant sections next. edit: There are still product/service additions to come to the Marketplace, I just didn't want to leave our Marketplace seeming in limbo.

NobleRoad (OpenBazaar) so far: https://github.com/jlcurby/NobleRoad. The second coins that are getting 10x-15x our vol. & market-cap for promising OpenBazaar (non-blockchain) marketplaces that are ahead of official development (it's in Alpha) release something I'll bite my tongue and fork our own copy with the products/deals (read: I don't believe them).

Steps is next and merchant map/easier access/use. I'm still tied up in related work that will come out. Our Water Project was completed: http://thewaterproject.org/community/projects/kenya/well-repair-in-kenya-4257 and we'll be gearing up for Steps/Round 2. I'll be working this to be funded by the community in a way that doesn't dump ANY NOBL on an exchange for those who are concerned with how fundraising affects price.

PoS as I said hopefully begins in a couple of weeks when our new developer frees up his schedule. If he can't figure it out I'll admit defeat and we'll organise a clean wallet swap to end PoW/miner inflation. All I'm asking now is a little patience, I will give daily updates if necessary to show I'm still here.

Wallet is here still: https://github.com/jlcurby/NobleCoin-wallet-placeholder - will release some compiled versions to toy with if interested. Going to pay for some new developers to join for wallet work.

Team: Within the next few months our team will look like: Protocol (1 paid developer), Wallet (1- 2 paid developers + protocol developers for additions/testing/GUI/features), myself for Noble Marketplace/NobleRoad, Steps & stuff in the works and then also community Ambassadors for promotion/social. Paid can be trusted developers to provide additions when they come about/are proven, I won't be able to continue handling them all. This will be an ongoing overhaul and I'm hoping we have names/faces for everyone involved.
