It appears to not have connectivity because it isn't updating blocks.  I have also tried to update the conf file in ApppData with no luck.

I suspect a bad peers.dat or similar. Can you try closing the client, deleting everything other than wallet.dat from the data directory (normally c:\users\your-name\appdata\roaming\vertcoin) then reopening the wallet and letting it re-sync the blockchain.

PM me if you have any further issues and we'll talk that way to figure out how to fix it - there's a significant chance your posts get buried in the thread otherwise and don't get noticed.

Devs are dead and not communicating. They must of sold when it was $7 - $9 and the rest left holding the bag.

Completely Untrue.   Infact many community members have a larger stake in the coin than the devs do.  As the coin was NOT premined, and the founders did not insta-mine, cloud mine or GPU mine ahead of anyone.  Its one of the fairest distributions in crypto.

If we are serious about Anti-asic, we as a community net to get more serious about making this coin shine instead of waiting for some magic development crew to figure everything out for us.  They are busy trying to future proof the coin.  Its up to us to give it utility now.

Please explain why the price has gone from $9 too $1.95 in such a short period of time. Someone obviously dumped a truck load.

+1 for this. Giving Vertcoin the utility that will take it into the mainstream depends on how we can drive adoption. We can do a lot with the great team we have behind VTC, but there's no substitute for an engaged and active community contributing to that effort - thousands of you can spread the word more effectively than a few of us, and the more people you can talk to about Vertcoin, and the more you can find ways to use and accept it in payment the better.

Well, if I were this guy http://bitinfocharts.com/vertcoin/address/Vjf6QRCF1AsaMUeGBpN8ZtN2z2htiGkZXr I wouldn't be keen to let the price rise until I'd finished buying, would you?

Perhaps it's you, and you are here to try and persuade people to keep selling to you cheaply? If so, congratulations on your wise investment, and please do send a bit of VTC to some of the projects on http://vertcoinmarket.com/

I CAN? As in, present? How? I need to throw my vertcoins in circulation !!

EDIT: just schecked moolah.ch and created an account! will report back Smiley wooohooo!

Yes, using vertcoin to buy at amazon is pretty amazing for this coin!! Smiley

 Just read it here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/comments/1xqm5s/moolah_vertcoin_appreciates_you/

I believe it should be possible soon using moolha.ch:

https://moolah.ch/

EDIT: I've made an account too. Just noticed that Vertcoin is the 4th cryptocoin accepted!

This - everyone should make a big noise about Moolah. Those guys are great.

Waiting for the hashrate comes back. Everyone knows the clone is a scammer, but they still jump into that ship, dance with a devil.

I have a question, if I should use different wallet addresses for my different mining rigs when I use the p2pool.vtcpool? Thank you.

Mine point at the same wallet, works fine.

Yes, the new p2pool update adjusts vardiff on a per-client basis, so to get the right size work for each rig (to maximise profitability) you should use a separate address for each rig.

Oh, unless you set that manually right? I just use the same wallet with a different value after the +, seems to work fine.

When I use P2Pool, I found there are a lot of messages in the vertminer "Stratum from pool 0 requested work restart", is it right?
