This coin sure has taken off! At this point I think I might even prefer that Cryptsy ignores it for a while so the pressure can build slowly.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

what exactly do those accomplish? push prices down lower or help raise them up?

Thats exactly what I asked myself too. Can anyone plz explain the concept of buy and sell walls and how these can manipulate the market. Or at least provide a link. THX I am not sure but math is telling me that is to protect prices from falling below .0030 since all the mtgox stuff. Thanks Vertan protector. some whales already passed from LTC to VTC. |

it's hard to get a good hash on a 5970. theoretically it's supposed to get a decent hash rate, but in reality it does not. All other vert miners that have them also have problems. Hash rate is only about 20-40 kh/s  |

looks like someone really buying VTC for 59 BTC on poloniex (its about 20k VTC), and not removing this wall, still buying...who investing that kind money ? what if there someone comes to cryptsy ? i think VTC gonna explode soon.. 0.005-0.008 could be fair range at the moment..

I want to find out if there is any progress regarding zerocoin implementation, or if even any work has started on it.
The buzz regarding the different mining requirement provided the initial boost. It now needs some progress otherwise will end up on the heap.
If you look at a few pages back, the developers decided to move in a different direction. We had a healthy debate on here and reddit about this. Can you post the reddit link? I remember there were funds being collected for a well. Has it been built? |
