I am mining Vertcoin, Monoclecoin, and Parallaxcoin... at the same time! ^_^ Merged mining is gonna get crazy, guys. Soon, I will be mining exponentially more coins... simultaneously!!
Someone needs to make an easier solution for this on P2Pool. Currently you have to setup your own node if you want to go beyond mining VTC/MON (3 coins).
Who knows, this might force people to decentralize if they want to mine more than two coins.

How did you go about adding an additional coin? EDIT: Figured it out. Follow same steps with PLX as you did with MON, then just add an additional --merged tag when starting the p2pool.

To mine VTC, MON, and PLX... You have to set up your own P2Pool node. You can find a guide in the vertcoin reddit and several other places. Make sure you find info on merged mining.

If anyone wants me to setup a P2Pool node for them and have a dedicated linux O/S, I can set you up for merged mining for 10 VTC. This is the ONLY METHOD to merge mine more than 2 coins, at the moment.I'll get VTC, MON, and PLX running. I'll give you command line to change password and show you how to change rpcpassword and rpcuser for each wallet. I expect it to be a fresh installation of Linux for your own security and make my whole process easier (without things getting in the way). If you don't have a dedicated machine, I suggest you go to www.digitalocean.com and use the coupon code DODEPLOY for free 10 dollars (2 month 5.00 server or 1 month 10.00 server).Just register, setup ubuntu and provide user credentials. This is the safest way. I will use SSH and setup/configure everything remotely! After you are setup, you can change credentials. I can show you how, if necessary.. Keep in mind, only you can mine on it. This is the only way to mine more than 2 coins, at the moment.

This was already debunked as a scam in previous threads... -_- Oh, I guess I was late to hear about that. Thanks for the info. No problem. I was actually interested in flowertech until I realized they never shipped a unit to date. I had simply mistaken them for another company. Anyways, the parts they claim to use for Scrypt-N ASICs has so many technological fallacies brought upon manufacturing. Flowertech, unlike other manufacturers who have shipped ASICS, avoids giving a technological breakdown on how such a phenomenon could exist today. That kind of gives it away, among many more reasons. Where was it debunked? I have not seen proof they are real or that they will work but I have not seen anything disprove it yet either? This was already debunked as a scam in previous threads... -_- If you are looking for more info, you can click back through the past 10-40 pages and find the discussion being brought up.

Haha If he is really a writer for cryptocoinnews.com, he should write an article about merged mining with BTC. Already I am mining 3 coins simultaneously. At least mention the implications on the future of altcoin mining for GPU miners. It would be nice to see and read about aside from getting the word out. I go there and coindesk everyday for my dose of crypto news XP

MON has nothing to do with it right now. Mon is only traded outside any exchange.
