I sold about 40% of my holdings for BTC in the past week.
We need some traction for VTC!
Bullshit, sounds more like your getting out of Vert before the new algo in anticipation of a price crash. Very wise move, Vert is a miners coin, no demand side for it outside this handful of followers.  Algo change is the final nail in the coffin.

I like Vertcoin, but if Lyra2RE mining is more profitable than Scrypt-N i expect more sell pressure than now.

That make sense. It's a risk we have to take. The more interesting problem is: how long would that take to go back to normal? I think it wouldn't last long.

I'm pretty sure it's not.

That's what I'm suspecting too. Would be great to hear Poramin's pre-announcement, kinda progress on miner development (team) or smth

A test version of CCminer has been built, 2 to 3 days until AMD miner test build completion. Lyra2RE paper to follow shortly. That version of sgminer is an old, non-working dev build.

Oh, I'm so happy to hear that, James. Please let me know when I can start testing it.
I have a 280x so I'm very excited about this. I've already gathered a bunch of different AMD CCC versions and old config files.

I'm ready. This shall be Vertastic!

Yeah i'm still mining vert for now but it's too cloudy to see through this coin in the future, I still believe in VERT but I didn't feel easy holding the amount of coins I had.
