This update is also posted on our official website http://klondikecoin.com/marketing-update/Klondike Marketing Update- As you all know by now: in weekends im not quite available. I do check forum from time to time, but weekend = private time for me. Even the "marketing manager" needs pleasure/leisure  - Last week i've developed a great idea for KDC which will make KDC stand out from ALL the other crypto-coins. This is going to be HUGE if we can pull it off. The implementation of this awesome idea must be discussed with a few pool-owners first. That will happen this week. - Expect more later this week. If we get through with this, you will surely notice all the announcements everywhere. THIS WILL BE FOKKING HUGE AND A CRYPTOCOIN-1st-TIMER ! - Twitter account @Klondikecoins is more active (on weekdays) - Website www.klondikecoin.com is reguarly updated. Go check it out. - KDC Forum at www.klondikecoin.com/forum was spammed like fuck. I've eddited some setting so it's harder to spam. I've changed: 1) sign up procedure (e-mail validation required now) 2) time delay for new topics and replying (time delay of 5 min per topic / reply) 3) Spammers have been IP-banned. Not sure if this will be effective (VPN etc..) Will keep an eye on it. If you are banned and not a spammert, please notify me on this forum with a PM. - KDC Facebookaccount still needs to be looked after. This week i'll make sure someone is appointed to keep FB updated. Have to get the new plugin going, Coinpayments is closing down, as soon as I figured out the new payment plugin I will open the merchant store up again.
WTF! I missed that piece of news. Fincen ... hmmm:) awesome. that's great news. How the hell are those good news? Closing a payment gateway is good? LMAO - my bad. I meant to quote this "Coinpayments has been bought and will continue trading." I was bummed Coinpayments was going away, but is being bought out and will still be around in one form or another. I don't know the details, but I'm happy for any crypto currency payment gateways being available. |

I still think it's something we can look into. With the new voting limitations on Mintpal I don't know if it's worth it. But regardless, some sort of marketing via a Giveaway for helping us in "something" would be great. Guys I just thought of a way to market us and help us with mintpal.
We have been pushing votes on a daily and hourly basis and also submitting BTC, but with the amount of people voting, we may get passed up again. We need more users to vote. Let's reach out to social spaces; cryptocointalk forums or twitter etc... with a KDC GIVEAWAY for Mintpal Votes!
With 1 vote = 0.000050 BTC, that's roughly 1.5 KDC.
We can probably get 6 votes per person for 5 KDC.
Which is like 0.000027 BTC per vote! Not to mention they can vote again every hour VS paying mintpal for a single "vote".
It's cheaper for us and will give us more Klondike users and get people interested in the Gold Rush!
If we only get 50 people to do it, that will give us up to 300 extra votes every hour. Or like 3,000 votes a day.
If some whales are interested maybe we can offer to sell KDC directly to them if they submit BTC to mintpal too. Say @ 0.0003 btc/KDC. If they donate 0.3 BTC to Mintpal, we send them 10k KDC?

I'll sum it up for you , talked to them after those two announcements, they said no sale went through so they will be going down 31st of march. They might release the whole thing to be open source. |
