Is it just your self doing the review, or is it a team, what do you look at when reviewing new coins? Sorry to bombard you with questions, just interested

The logo looks like an "info sign", the old logo seems better, just my point of view.

In my opinion, this logo looks a lot more simple than the previous one and therefor looks more professional.

I liked the old logo, it was rather striking and caught the eye. The new logo whilst still catching the eye, is very simple but very effective.

Are there any plans to change to KGW?
Yes symbiont, this has been on the minds of the iCoin team and there's been discussion between @Viperbass and the head developer in regards to this. Perhaps he can hop on and give you a more concise update / timeline shortly Ok. Thx. I would like to invest more in this coin. I like it very much. But without KGW there is no way to survive. As soon as icoin will hit coinwarz or a bigger exchange some mining farms and/or multipools will jump in and let the coin die on a high diff. I have seen it many times in the past. By he way nice new logo and website! The dev in charge of the coin is captainhook, just PM him if you need confirmation. I would recommend this gets implemented before the coin gets listed on coinwarz.

I would recommend this gets implemented before the coin gets listed on coinwarz. Let's make a poll for KGW or current PPC algo. Poll: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=463225I have voted for KGW based on what I read on Megacoin thread. Well, as Megacoin follower I can say, do it. It's a damn good improvement for the regular hashers and it ensures the network just keeps on going. Back when it was implemented in Megacoin I, as a smalltime gpu miner, noticed a huge difference. Before the Gravitiy Well, multi pools and alike would come, skyrocket difficulty, and then go away again, leaving the difficulty to be resolved by the regular hashers. That would take a while, meaning that people like me with a simple gpu would barely make a difference anymore and see very little return. Also, such high difficulty means it takes more time for the network to toss about confirmations on transactions, right?! After the implementation of Kimoto's Gravity Well the difficulty would spike just the same as soon as multi pools come rape harvesting, but as soon as they move one, the difficulty would adjust about instantly. It made mining worth while again. With scrypt asics around the corner, will such code make a difference? I think it will. Hugely. In general, the more asics are hashing, the more the difficulty rises. The Gravity Well won't make that go away. But what you do have to fear are the asics that will join multi pools, and perhaps even more such pools then there are now. Okay, it may be the same as now, except that the difficulty spikes would become two or three times more powerful. How much time will it take to solve that and bring the network back to a workable level with the current amount of regular miners?! It will take hours and hours to recover while the network struggles. It might even take days to recover. While that's not likely since Feathercoin and Megacoin have strong networks, it will have a noticeable impact nonetheless. Coins with lesser networks should be very worried. In the past I've seen coins struggle for weeks even. In the long run that is lethal obviously. So, yeah...

KGW can be implemented fairly easily and will require everyone to update there wallets, your concerns are duly noted and we will be taking this into serious consideration. We will provide more feedback on this subject tomorrow.

While I agree with everyone on the old logo being more "eye catching", it wasnt exactly a logo that you should have as a main logo. As most people said ,when you shrink it and use it as maybe a "icoin accepted here" logo, its almost to fancy to be shrunk up, while this one shrunk up does not loose much of its effectiveness when its shrunk. I have a seen a few coins keep several logos, in different sizes, shapes, etc for marketing. I do not know marketing just merely saying an opinion .

I got feedback from captainhook, they can change to KGW when the situation calls for it and they are monitoring the network hash rate closely... so the coin can be added to coinwarz in the meantime.
GG.

Really excited about the changes myself. I believe our designer did a fantastic job at building the new logo to match our 'simplicity' standards

This is fantastic news. Moving it higher on the priority list, and I look forward to making more introductions with CoinWarz to facilitate a formal addition! Thanks for keeping the community updated BlueStreet! - Ridg

Albeit correct, it's only temporary. Just starting to get our name out in the community and the slight dip will be an opportune time to buy. We have major plans in the works to increase community awareness in other facets besides the forums. Looking forward to what will happen these next couple weeks - Ridg
