Assuming a price of 0.00004 BTC/iCoin, and with a BTC price of about $700, this 250 iCoin bounty would be worth ~$7. This just seems a little stingy. I'd suggest upping it to 1,000.

Willing to give upwards of 1,000 iCoin to each party involved: the referring party and/or the new merchant. The amount received for bounty will be dependent on the following aspects and keep in mind not every merchant needs a referring party either, in which case the new merchant would simply be awarded 1,000 free ICN as usual but without the need of a referring party. Thanks litesire for your post, we will definitely be looking at those suggestions especially regarding the ltc/icn pairing as it does make a lot of sense.

We are also holding back on marketing to mainstream until the kimoto gravity change takes place next week, this will require a wallet update and exchanges, pools
will also need to update in time.

In the meantime we will keep adding more to this great currency!

It might be due to our btc/ICN market that that went down on Cryptorush, this will return soon as they update the bitcoin wallet.

Also even with our current Network hashrate and price we are very profitable to mine at those prices and a few miners have caught onto that.

Our plan is to make everyone who sells at these prices regret it in a couple months from now.

All these coins that get all the attention on bitcointalk always fall down, doge being the exception. Like litesire said bitcointalk is not a reflection on how well a coin will do in the future.

People will be cutting themselves that they didn't get in at these prices, all it takes is one big announcement for iCoin and this current price will double in a heartbeat.

I promised myself I would never create a account on bitcointalk but since I actually give a Fuck about this coin I will.

I am currently a holder of over 4500 litecoin, I also have a few btc but litecoin is my bread and butter. The only other alt coin I hold is iCoin, why
not it has a fucking good name.

I feel a lot of focus and too much attention has gone into this cestpit called bitcointalk alternative c section, it is plagued by millions of alt coins and majority
of the people in here are either miners or thumb sucked which coin they think will have a future and stuck with it.

Now since then the team trying to promote this coin has come leaps and bounds and I must say the new website looks stunning and
the logo will go down well with mainstreamers. This coin did have a bad start which was unfortunate and as they say first impressions last but the fight
I see in this team is very noble and I can see this coin is going to make it.

So here are some starter tips:

1. Post in the alternative currency section on http://litecointalk.org . Your coin will get more noticed on there even if there is far less traffic.
2. Get a ICN/LTC pairing going on cryptorush, do you know over 64 LTC/ICN was being traded daily on freshmarket.io before it got hacked? People
are far more willing to part with LTC then btc and the volumes will give people with btc more confidence to buy iCoin. You see where I am going with this.
3. This coin can be the real deal, it has everything going for it to be the best mainstream coin, hell it could even start revolutions. Just keep making more
   people aware, don't worry too much about bitcointalk.org, there are no investors here.
4. Post on websites that aren't so cluttered like this, word of mouth is powerful thing.
5. Approach Merchants who already accept Virtual Currencies, a lot of them will like the coin and if they are half as logically minded as I am would
   grab as much as they can at these prices.

I will continue to monitor your ANN and offer advice as you go along. The change to Kimoto Gravity is really good move and I feel overall the iCoin
team is making good decisions for this currency.

iCoin community, you need to assist in making this coin great, don't just rely on the team to do all the work, if you own iCoin it should be your duty to
spread the word.

I just thought that iCoin could do with a little suggestion. Have a look at NobleCoin and how many merchants they have. They look like they are going places, maybe you could approach some of the same merchants that sell the little known noblecoin and see if they would accept iCoin.

I think, that NobleCoin have not too much merchants but they move in the right direction. I like intrawebstudio.com and sanfranciscoseoagency.com among them.
